Welcome.
This is an opportunity for you to reconnect with yourself.
I invite you to return whenever you need a moment to pause and breathe.
Gently close your eyes,
Settle into a comfortable position and take a deep,
Calming breath in through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.
Let go of any tension as you breathe out and allow yourself to fully arrive in this moment.
Take a moment to feel the weight of your body pressing down,
Supported by the earth beneath you.
Feel how stable,
How grounded you are.
If it feels comfortable you can place one hand over your heart and the other over your belly.
Notice the gentle rise and fall of your breath,
The natural rhythm that moves within you.
With each inhale imagine drawing in calm and peace.
With each exhale release any tensions or stress you may be holding.
Continue to breathe in this way for a few cycles,
Finding a pace that feels natural and soothing for you.
Now in your mind's eye imagine yourself standing in a beautiful,
Peaceful place.
This could be a quiet forest,
A tranquil beach or a serene mountain landscape.
The air around you is fresh and comforting.
As you walk through this space notice the vibrant colors,
The textures of the earth under your feet and the sounds of nature all around you.
Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin,
Gently embracing you with its light.
Allow this warmth to fill you from the top of your head to the tips of your fingers and toes,
Wrapping you in a sense of safety and ease.
As you stand in this peaceful place take a moment to acknowledge any emotions or thoughts that are present with you right now.
Without judgment,
Simply notice them.
As you exhale allow these feelings to drift away as if they are clouds in the sky passing by,
Leaving behind a clear and open space.
Offer yourself grace and compassion,
Knowing that you are doing your best.
With each breath you are giving yourself the gift of calm and clarity.
Slowly bring your awareness back to your body.
Feel the ground beneath your feet again,
Supporting you.
Take one final deep breath in,
Filling your lungs completely and as you exhale let go of any remaining tension.
When you are ready,
Gently open your eyes,
Bringing with you a sense of peace,
Balance and calm.
