Welcome,
I'm Jennifer Barba,
Founder of Connecticut Healing Center.
Today we're exploring manifesting as a practice of naming what you want,
Connecting with what matters to you,
And taking steps towards it.
You don't have to force positive thoughts or pretend that life is easy.
You can acknowledge where you are while making room for where you want to go.
Find a comfortable position.
Let your eyes close or soften your gaze.
Take a gentle breath in and slowly breathe out.
Allow your shoulders to settle.
Let your jaw soften.
Ask yourself,
What do I want to welcome into my life?
Perhaps it's greater peace,
A fulfilling relationship.
Meaningful work,
More confidence.
Or room to rest.
Let the answer come without judging it.
Now make that intention more specific.
If your first thought is,
I don't want to feel overwhelmed,
Try asking.
What would I like to experience instead?
Perhaps I want a day with space to breathe.
I want to speak honestly and feel comfortable setting boundaries.
I want to make time for work that feels meaningful to me.
Give yourself a direction you can recognize in everyday life.
Choose one intention.
Say it quietly.
I want.
Now complete that sentence in your own words.
You don't need to choose what sounds impressive.
Choose what feels true.
Keep it simple.
Now imagine an ordinary moment in which you are moving toward that intention.
If you want peace,
Picture yourself pausing before answering a request.
If you want connection,
Picture yourself reaching out and having an honest conversation.
If you want confidence,
Picture yourself taking a small step while uncertainty is still present.
Notice what you are doing,
What choice you are making.
What you are giving yourself permission to try.
Let this image be an invitation,
Not a demand.
You don't have to control every outcome.
Other people,
Circumstances,
And timing also shape what happens.
Difficult thoughts do not cancel your intentions,
While setbacks don't mean you have failed.
You can return your direction with kindness.
Take another gentle breath.
Now ask,
What is one small action I can take towards this today?
One email,
One boundary,
10 minutes set aside.
One request for support,
One moment of rest.
Choose something realistic,
Something within your influence.
Repeat silently,
I can name what matters to me.
I can allow myself to want something different.
I can take one step without knowing the whole path.
I can adjust as I learn.
Take a final comfortable breath.
Feel the support beneath you.
Notice the room around you.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Carry your intention with you,
Not as pressure to make everything happen,
But as a reminder of what you want to practice and move forward.
This is Jennifer Barba with Connecticut Healing Center.
May you meet your next step with clarity,
Courage,
And compassion.
Be well.
