Hello and welcome to Wahine of the Sun.
Today we are returning to center.
Before we begin,
Just take a moment to remember.
That everything in nature moves in rhythm.
The ocean.
The breath.
The rising and setting of the sun.
None of it rushes.
None of it forces.
And yet everything unfolds exactly as it should.
Nature has always been one of our greatest teachers.
It shows us how to move,
How to rest,
How to begin again.
And when we allow ourselves to become still enough to listen,
To feel.
We begin to attune to that rhythm.
And in that attunement,
Something softens.
Something opens.
And we begin to remember.
That the same intelligence moving through nature also lives within us.
So this practice is simply a return to that.
A return to your breath.
To your body.
To your center.
So take a moment with me.
To arrive.
Not where you think you need to be.
But right here.
As you are.
Let the body settle.
Let the breath be natural at first,
Unforced,
Unchanged.
And just notice.
You are breathing in.
Now gently begin to deepen that breath.
In through the nose.
Slow and steady.
Like drawing in the first light of morning.
And out through the mouth,
Softly,
Like releasing the heat of the day back into the earth.
Do that again with me.
In through the nose.
Slow and steady.
Out through the mouth.
Softly.
Inhale.
Feeling from the belly,
To the heart,
To the chest.
And exhale.
Letting it all soften,
Letting it all go.
Imagine now.
That you are standing at the meeting place of the Earth's elements.
The warmth of the sun on your skin,
The steady ground beneath your feet,
The quiet rhythm of breath moving through you like ocean tide.
You don't need to create anything.
You are already within it.
Feel the Earth.
It's holding you.
Not asking anything of you.
Not requiring anything in return.
Just Steady.
Just present.
Feel your breath in this moment.
Moving like a tide within your body.
It's rising.
It's falling.
It's effortless and somewhere within all of this there is still that still point,
A place within that does not rush.
Does not react.
Does not chase,
It simply is.
And you are coming into that place of stillness as you sit in the comfort of knowing that you are being held.
Just simply for being.
This place is your center.
It is not something you have to find.
Something that you return to.
So if the mind wanders,
That's okay.
Just notice it.
It's like leaves on a tree.
You are rooted and grounded.
And those leaves,
Maybe thoughts falling from the tree,
You notice it?
And you watch them fall.
And you come gently back to your breath.
To your body.
To the quiet presence underneath it all.
Feel the warmth within your chest,
Like a small sun,
Steady,
Alive,
Unshaken by the noise around it.
This is your inner source.
Not something given to you,
Something that has always been yours.
So just rest here for a few moments.
That golden light of you.
Breathing,
Feeling,
Remembering.
Just sit in that place and soak it all in here in silence for just a moment.
Begin to deepen the breath.
In this place.
Gently inviting movement back into your body.
Not rushing the return,
Just allowing yourself to rise slowly like the sun coming over the horizon.
Notice how you feel.
Not needing to change it.
Just witnessing.
With awareness.
And as you move back into your day.
See if you can carry this with you,
This steadiness,
This quiet center.
This connection to something deeper.
That is always available.
To you.
Because it is within you.
You are not separate from the rhythm of life.
You are a part of it.
And you can always return here whenever you need.
With a breath,
A pause,
A moment of awareness.
I'll show you.
If this space has felt supportive for you.
You are always welcome to explore more within this same frequency at Wahinev,
The Sun.
Until then.
Move gently.
And stay close to yourself.
