Are you about to lose it?

You're not alone in this.

Let me help you recharge.

Grab your headphones if you can,

But not no worries.

Then step into a room where you can lock the door like the bathroom.

Your little ones can manage two minutes without you.

Now find a comfortable seat and straighten your spine.

I will guide you through a lion face exercise.

Ready?

Take a deep breath in,

Pull your shoulders up to your ears.

And make a lion face by opening your mouth and eyes wide.

Stick your tongue out as far as you can.

Hold.

Exhale shortly through your mouth.

Drop your shoulders,

Pull your tongue back in,

Close your mouth and relax your face.

Breathe normally for a moment.

And let's do that again.

Inhale through your nose,

Shoulders up,

Eyes and mouth wide open,

Tongue out.

Hold.

Then exhale through your mouth,

Let it all go.

Drop your shoulders,

Relax your face and close your eyes.

And now,

Let your breath flow naturally and become aware of how you feel.

Say to yourself,

It's okay to feel overwhelmed.

I don't have to be perfect.

I've got this.

Let these words sink in.

It's okay to feel overwhelmed.

I don't have to be perfect.

I've got this.

Breathe in and recharge with fresh energy.

Breathe out and slowly blink your eyes open.

You've got this.
