Who Will Honor The Goddess?

This contemplative poem explores the deeper essence of the Goddess, moving beyond physical beauty to celebrate her ecstatic, life-giving energy. Her temple of worship is open to those with a clean and submissive heart.

There is none more divine and holier than her.

From her womb,

Kings,

Queens,

Magicians,

And merchants,

Her breasts nurture those who aren't even her own.

The offerings she receives determines the blessings she gives.

Her wrath causes drought and famine.

Her pleasure makes rivers flow and warriors blush.

Many walk by her gates admiring her beauty,

But never aware of her power.

Many misconceive her to be the temptress by staring into her eyes,

Not realizing they should be bowing at her feet.

Those who worship the goddess receive a mother's love,

Ecstasy of a lover,

And the friendship and loyalty of a brother.

Come to her temple in a state of reverence.

Only the humble spirit can exist inside of her dwelling.
