Close your eyes and descend into the rhythm of your own heartbeat.
At the base of your spine,
Imagine a ribbon of silver moonlight,
Strong enough to break through the hardest rock.
Now watch as it drops away from you,
Stitching itself through the floor,
Through the dark damp earth,
Past the ancient stones,
Until it finds the heart of the earth.
You are now anchored.
From the crown of your head,
A second billowy silver ribbon unfurls,
Rising like a thick coherent smoke,
Passing through the ceiling up into the sky to catch the wonders of the cosmos.
You are now connected.
On the breath in,
Pull in the steadying emerald strength of the earth upwards into your heart.
On the breath out,
Draw down the enchanting purple wisdom of the cosmos downward into your heart.
You are the bridge where the stars meet the soil.
You are steady.
You are infinite.
You are ready.
When you are ready,
Let the threads become a part of you and open your eyes.
