Welcome to our 10 minute grounding meditation.
If you can be outside in nature for this meditation,
Then I'd encourage you to do so.
Otherwise,
No worries,
Just relax and get settled where you are,
In a comfortable seated or laying down position.
And you've found your way to comfort.
Close your eyes.
Feel the points of contact beneath your body and the earth.
Imagine you are a body without a head.
Just a body.
Let all thoughts dissipate as you simply be.
No thought.
Pure feeling.
Singular body awareness.
Pause.
Good.
One of the easiest and most immediate ways to ground is to take a deep belly breath in through your nose and to let it out with a long slow exhale.
Let's do that here together first.
Exhaling all the air from your lungs for a fresh start.
And now taking in a deep full inhale through your nose and releasing it with an exhale.
Taking your time.
Releasing all the air from your lungs.
Again,
Easy in.
Pausing.
Slow out.
Taking your time.
Inhaling.
And on your exhale,
Relaxing your shoulders,
Your cheeks,
Your jaw.
On your next inhale,
Breathe the air all the way down to your feet.
And as you exhale,
Imagine roots extending out down from your feet a few meters into the earth,
Grounding you.
This time,
Breathe in.
Pull all the oxygen awareness into your sacrum at the root of your spine.
And as you exhale,
Extend a cord of light deep,
Deep down into the core of the earth,
Connecting and anchoring deeply here in the heart and center of the earth.
Inhale.
Breathe light and life into your heart space.
Feel your presence and light here.
On your exhale,
Let your light shine,
Spread,
Sparkle,
And radiate through every cell and space in your body.
Inhale.
Feel the full presence of your body as it is,
Grounded,
Connected,
Centered,
Secure.
And as you exhale,
Exhale.
Release all effort.
Settle into and relax into your grounded,
Connected state.
Feel the bigness,
The weight,
And the expansiveness of the earth below you.
Feel the immensity,
The stability,
Holding you,
Grounding you,
And supporting you so completely in every way.
You might attune to the rooted stillness of the trees,
Existing in pure silence,
Steady,
Tall,
Quiet,
The solidity of the mountains,
The stillness.
Feel a little more stable,
Solid,
And centered within yourself too.
You are just like the earth,
The trees,
The mountains.
And as you connect inward to you,
You will touch your true nature.
You will find grounding.
Breathe.
Feel connected.
Feel your wholeness.
This is your safe space.
This is ground zero.
Stay here for as long as you need,
Resting in this grounded frequency.
You can let yourself indulge a little in this feeling.
Stay longer than you normally would.
Only moving forward when you truly feel ready.
Remember your ability to extend roots deep down into the earth and connect to what's already grounded and true at any time.
