Hello and welcome!
In today's meditation we are going to be opening the heart chakra a little more.
So I invite you to get comfortable,
Lay down if you like,
But make sure you're not going to fall asleep.
So I always recommend sitting up if you can,
Maybe getting a blanket and sitting on a bolster and making sure you're at a stage where you're able to feel safe.
Maybe that's closing a door,
Changing the lighting,
Maybe even keeping your eyes open during this meditation.
Whatever you need is perfect and you are perfect.
When you're ready I invite you to start becoming aware of your breath,
Not trying to change it,
Just noticing where it is now.
Are you breathing in and out of your nose or out of your mouth?
And if you are breathing in and out of your mouth what would it feel like if you breathe in and out of your nose?
Are you breathing into your chest?
Are you feeling your belly rise and fall with each breath?
Are you feeling your ribcages expand to the side of your body?
And how does it feel to exhale?
How long is your inhale?
How long is your exhale?
Are you breathing in a hundred percent?
I invite you now to breathe into your heart.
You can place a hand in the center of your chest if you'd like.
Is there tension in the front of your body or the back?
What does the temperature of your heart feel like?
Has your breathing changed at all when you started breathing into your heart?
Do you feel safer now that you're aware of your heart or not?
There is no right or wrong answer with these questions.
There is pure curiosity.
Now I wonder if your heart was to have a shape.
Maybe a triangle,
A circle,
A square,
A hexagon,
2D,
3D,
Hollow or solid.
What shape would it be?
And now if it had a color.
Out of all the colors in the world from black and white to metallics,
Pastels,
Fluorescent,
Any shade you can imagine or variation of shades.
What color would your heart space be?
What material would it be made out of?
Maybe a velvet,
Maybe a solid lead,
Cardboard,
Snowflakes.
Would it have a texture that's rough or smooth,
Fluffy or liquid?
What does your heart feel like?
And now I want you to ask your heart a question.
How can I feel and give more love?
Be mindful of anything that pops up,
Memories,
People.
Now you've gotten your answer.
Has your heart changed at all in shape,
Texture,
Weight,
Color or shape?
Size?
And now asking your heart.
What can you do so that it can allow more love into your life?
What can you do so your heart can allow more love into your life?
Taking a moment to find gratitude and thanks for your heart and for the time that you have committed to this practice.
And we're going to end with three deep heart-centered breaths,
Sighing or humming on your exhale.
So breathing in.
Again.
And final time.
Thank you so,
So much for turning up to this practice.
You are so loved and so appreciated.
I hope you have the most magnificent day and the most amazing life.
