Hello.
Welcome.
My name is Annabelle,
And in today's meditation,
We are speaking to the avoidant attachment.
So,
If this sounds like it's for you.
.
.
Take it safe.
Get comfortable.
Relax into the floor,
The chair.
Whatever is holding you.
Starting to slow down your breath.
Noticing if you're breathing in through your nose or your mouth.
Noticing how long your inhale is.
And how long your exhale is.
Noticing if you have a pause between your inhale and exhale.
Or if there's a pause between your exhale and inhale.
However you are breathing is perfect.
All we're doing is getting curious about it.
While you still focus on your breathing.
Noticing if it's going into your belly or your chest.
You're going to start to receive these affirmations.
And all you have to do is hear them.
No,
They are true.
And keep focusing.
On your breath.
Will only be here for a short time today.
One deep inhale to give up.
And one deep exhale together.
I'm now speaking to that avoidance.
Heartless you.
You are so loved.
And the definition of love isn't.
Control.
The definition of love isn't giving up everything you want.
The definition of love.
Is not having to conform.
Instead,
The definition of love is to be accepted.
Exactly as you are.
Love is to be seen and celebrated.
Love is communication.
Love is understanding.
And people want to love you.
People want to respect you.
People want to allow you to do what's best for you.
And all they want is in return.
Is to be part of your life.
To be able to see you thrive.
To be able to celebrate you in your highest,
Most wonderful,
Loving life.
People want to know you deeply.
People want to know.
More than just your favorite color.
I want to know the stories that shaped you.
The fears that still impact your day-to-day.
The hopes and dreams that you strive for.
People want you to let them in.
And if I can tell you a secret.
.
.
The more you let people in.
The more they will love you.
The more empathy they will have.
The more trust they will give.
And the more depth they will show you.
You are fantastic at choosing good people.
And good people stay.
Through the hard times.
And stay through the good times.
They stay through the boring times.
They stay because they have trust and empathy for you.
They stay because they want to be there.
You don't need to run.
And sometimes it feels safest to run.
Sometimes the fear of being left.
Feels like too big a risk.
Sometimes it feels like your whole body.
Impacted.
It's like you're going into fight or flight.
Because of love.
Because of fear of being left.
Fear.
Applications.
Not living up to people's expectations.
And so much more.
When that happens.
All you're gonna do is start to get curious.
Are you breathing in and out of your nose?
For your mouth.
A breathing into your chest.
Or your belly.
How long is your inhale?
How long is your exhale?
Then you're going to ask yourself,
What do I need right now?
Maybe I need space.
And I can ask for that with love.
And say,
Hey,
I need a few days.
You have done nothing wrong.
I just need some time to regulate.
You need to have a connection.
And that's what's scaring you.
Maybe you need a hug.
Maybe you need just a walk in the air for now.
Notice what you need.
You don't need to jump into.
Resolution.
Straight away.
What you do need to do.
So remember that you are loved.
Exactly as you are.
You're cared for.
You are supported.
And people who love you.
Have understanding.
They have care.
They have support and empathy.
You can trust them.
You can rely on them.
You can rely.
On yourself as well.
You are never going to abandon you.
You are always going to be there for you.
You've been there for the hardest times of your life.
And you've been there through the best times.
And there are even better ones that are yet to come.
You are so lovely.
So supported.
So cared about.
There is not a single thing you cannot do.
Take a deep breath in when you're ready.
Holding it just for a moment.
And then exhaling.
One more time.
Deep breath in.
Hold.
And exhale.
When you are feeling up to it.
Starting to move your shoulders,
Move your fingers or toes.
Taking a moment to just reawaken the body.
Taking as long as you need.
And when you are finally ready.
Opening your eyes,
Opening your chest.
And then starting to get back into the day.
Knowing.
You are so loved.
So supported.
And so cared about.
I hope you have an amazing day.
