Welcome to the solar plexus meditation.

Focusing on our solar plexus during meditation can help us access our inner power and confidence.

For this meditation just find a quiet and comfortable place to sit or lie down.

Just starting to relax the body,

Letting the thighs soften against the surface and noticing your breath.

On each exhale just letting a new part of the body relax.

Letting the shoulders slide down your back on your next exhale.

Softening the jaw and any of the muscles on the face.

And just starting to tune back into your breath noticing the rise and the fall of your chest.

On our next inhale we'll start to deepen our breath.

Inhaling for four counts.

Breathing in.

Holding for four at the top.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And exhaling for four counts.

And continuing that breathing pattern here.

Breathing in.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Hold for one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And exhale for one,

Two,

Three.

Continue this pattern at your own pace.

And finishing up your last round of the four count breath.

Returning back to normal after your last exhale.

And just start to notice the difference in your body.

We'll start to visualize a bright yellow light at your solar plexus which is the area right above your belly button.

This light represents your inner power and your confidence.

As you focus on this light imagine it growing brighter and stronger with each breath you take.

Allow this light to spread throughout your body filling you with a sense of confidence and self-assurance as you breathe.

Inhaling seeing the light get brighter.

And exhaling seeing it spread throughout your body.

Expanding throughout your aura.

And growing brighter and stronger with each breath in.

Sitting with the feeling of what confidence feels like.

Maybe you feel it in a certain part of your body.

Maybe you can just visualize what confidence means to you.

And as you continue to focus on the bright yellow light allow feelings of self-love and acceptance to wash over you.

Just recognizing that you are worthy and deserving of love and respect.

Just as you are in this moment.

If any negative thoughts or self-doubt arises just acknowledge them and then let them go.

Returning your focus to that bright yellow light and the feelings of confidence and self-love.

Just practicing going back to those thoughts when anything negative arises.

Take a few moments to bring that into your focus.

And using the next few moments to think about some qualities that you enjoy about yourself.

Whether they're physical,

They're in your personality,

How you treat other people,

Maybe it's a passion that you have.

Just start to think about the stuff that you enjoy about yourself.

Bringing them to your mind's eye.

Maybe seeing images,

Words,

And just appreciating what awesome talents and gifts that you have in this moment.

And taking the next few moments to think about things that you would like to explore.

Maybe something lights you up that you haven't tried yet.

A topic that you have maybe thought about but haven't dabbled in it yet.

Let some of those dreams and desires float into your mind's eye.

Now imagine yourself standing tall and confident.

Maybe starting to actually roll the shoulder blades down your back and fixing your posture for a moment.

And see yourself radiating that positive energy with that sense of self-assurance.

And just take a moment to visualize yourself in your mind's eye succeeding whatever goal that you're working towards.

Or whatever hobby or interest that you haven't tried yet.

Just visualize yourself going through those steps.

Feeling strong and capable as you do so.

Continuing to visualize yourself achieving your goals and dreams.

And feeling proud of your accomplishments and confident in those abilities.

Noticing where you feel it in your body.

If you feel a tingling sensation,

Just continue visualizing yourself like a movie in your mind.

Achieving these things or trying the new things out.

Allow this sense of power and self-assurance to fill you up.

Radiating outward towards all of those around you.

Knowing that when you are confident and when you are full of your own light and your own power,

You inspire other people.

You create a sense of happiness and an energy that's magnetic for other people as well.

When you feel good,

Other people feel good around you.

Continue to focus on your breath and the bright yellow light at your solar plexus.

Continue to deepen the breath as you breathe here.

And remember to carry this sense of inner strength and self-love with you as you go about your day.

You can always tap back into it.

Visualizing the feeling that you had today during this meditation as your anchor to come back to this feeling.

And remember that this meditation can be done at any time when you need to tap into your inner strength and confidence.

And with consistent practice,

You will find that you are able to access this sense of power more easily in your daily life.

You can take one last big breath together.

Breathing in through the nose for four seconds.

Holding at the top for four,

Three,

Two,

One.

And then exhaling with the mouth open,

Sighing out that breath.

When you are ready,

You can slowly blink open your eyes and take a few moments to take some deep breaths before returning to your day.
