Find a quiet,
Comfortable place where you can sit or lie down.
Let your body settle naturally.
Bring gentle awareness to your breathing.
No need to change anything yet,
Just notice the rhythm.
Begin to let your shoulders relax,
Let your jaw unclench,
Soften the muscles around your eyes.
Feel your body supported by the surface beneath you.
Take a slow breath in through your nose,
Let it travel deep into your lungs,
Exhale softly through your mouth.
With each breath,
Allow a little more ease into your body.
Now bring your awareness to your heart.
Imagine the gentle light of God's love resting there.
This is a space of truth and grace,
Where you are already forgiven.
We often carry guilt like a heavy stone,
Holding on to mistakes,
Words we wish we could take back,
Or things we left undone,
But God never meant for us to live under the weight of shame.
His word says there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
As you breathe in,
Imagine drawing in God's forgiveness.
As you breathe out,
Release the burden of guilt.
Let it go.
You don't need to fix or replay the past.
Right here,
Right now,
You are free to receive his mercy.
If there's a specific moment or memory that still brings you guilt,
Gently bring it to mind.
See it surrounded by the light of God's love.
You might say quietly,
Lord,
I give this to you.
Imagine his presence covering that moment,
Softening it,
Washing it clean.
Every place where guilt once lived is being filled by grace.
You are forgiven,
Seen,
And deeply loved.
Now rest in this truth.
You are not defined by your mistakes.
You are defined by his mercy.
Let that truth sink into your heart.
You are a child of God,
Restored and renewed.
Breathe deeply again.
With each inhale,
Receive his peace.
With each exhale,
Let go of self-judgment.
Let go of what-ifs and should-haves.
They no longer serve you.
Say silently in your heart,
I am forgiven,
I am loved,
I am free.
Feel the light of God filling you,
Gentle,
Radiant,
Whole.
Allow that peace to move through your entire body.
Rest here in the safety of his love.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your mercy that makes all things new.
Help us walk forward with a light heart,
Free from guilt and full of grace.
When you're ready,
Begin to bring awareness back to your body.
Take a soft breath in,
Gently open your eyes,
And carry this peace with you as you go.
