Good evening,

It's Gina.

Tonight Sophie and her magic carpet are going on a warm and golden adventure,

All the way to a faraway desert filled with soft sands,

Gentle winds and glowing light.

So get cozy in your bed,

Snuggle under your blanket and let's begin our story.

The last light of day spilled softly through Sophie's window.

The air was warm and still and her carpet,

The one with swirls of golden sand,

Shimmered faintly.

Sophie smiled.

Are you ready for another adventure?

She whispered.

The carpet rippled gently beneath her and before she knew it she was floating,

Resting comfortably as the room slipped away below.

Up through the open air they went,

Gliding into the soft evening sky.

The world below shimmered in golden tones.

Hills and rivers faded into wide stretches of desert.

Endless waves of sand glowing in the light of the setting sun.

The carpet drifted low,

Hovering close enough for Sophie to feel the warmth of the desert air.

The breeze brushed against her cheeks like a friendly sigh.

It was beautiful.

Dunes curling and rippling like golden oceans,

The edges gleaming pink and orange as the sun began to sink.

Far ahead Sophie spotted a shimmer of green and blue,

An oasis hidden among the dunes.

The carpet floated gently toward it.

Palm trees swayed and the water sparkled like liquid glass.

Around the edges bright flowers bloomed and a small herd of camels rested in the sand.

One lifted its head and gave a slow curious blink towards Sophie.

She smiled.

Hello friends.

The carpet circled the oasis softly and that's when Sophie saw it,

A little baby camel standing alone near a dune.

It looked lost and uncertain.

Oh dear,

Sophie whispered,

You're a bit far from home aren't you?

The carpet drifted closer.

The baby camel blinked and tilted its head as if it understood.

Sophie reached out a hand,

Her voice gentle and kind.

Come on little one,

Let's find your family.

Together they began to float slowly towards the oasis.

The baby camel followed,

Its small hooves padding softly across the sand.

The golden light wrapped around them as they moved,

The warm wind swirling gently.

Sophie smiled as the baby camel suddenly broke into a happy trot.

It had spotted its mother.

The two camels nuzzled each other safe and together again.

Sophie felt her heart swell with happiness.

There you found your home.

The sun hung low on the horizon painting everything in shades of amber and rose.

Watching the baby camel's joy,

Sophie felt something gentle stir inside her,

A warm quiet knowing.

I think I'd like to go home now too,

She whispered.

The carpet seemed to agree and fluttered softly beneath her,

Lifting into the evening air.

The desert stretched out below,

Peaceful and still,

The last of the sun melting into soft twilight.

Sophie placed her hands over her tummy and took a slow deep breath in.

Her belly rose gently like the warm desert wind and then she breathed out slowly,

Letting all the air drift away,

Calm and easy.

You can try some deep breaths as well with Sophie.

In and out and in and out.

The stars began to twinkle above and the first silver of moonlight brushed the sand.

Sophie felt heavy and safe,

Her body soft and relaxed.

The carpet glided quietly through the sky,

Carrying her home through the cool evening air.

Back in her room,

The carpet floated gently down beside her bed.

Sophie was already half asleep.

It shimmered once,

A soft golden glow.

Goodnight magic carpet,

Sophie murmured.

Thank you for the adventure.

And she drifted into dreams.

She could still feel the warmth of the desert wind and the rhythm of her slow steady breathing.

Everything was peaceful.

Everything was safe.

Goodnight my friend.
