Welcome to this morning meditation.
Take a moment to settle in,
Allowing yourself to arrive here fully.
Let your body soften because this is a new day,
A fresh beginning to align with yourself and to let go of yesterday.
Feel your feet on the ground.
Notice the connection between your body and the surface beneath you.
Now imagine roots growing from the bottom of your feet extending down through the floor,
Deep into the earth below.
Feel yourself anchored,
Supported.
These roots connect you to something steady and nurturing.
Notice how these roots can grow as deep as you need them to,
Creating a foundation of stability and strength.
Now bring your attention to your breath.
Nothing to change,
Just noticing.
Breathe in slowly.
Feel the air traveling through your nose down into your lungs and notice how it reaches your heart space.
Gently expanding your heart with each inhale.
As you exhale,
Feel the soft release,
Letting go of anything you don't need to carry.
If you notice thoughts pulling your attention away,
That's okay.
Simply return to your breath.
Each inhale reaching your heart,
Each exhale letting go.
If it feels comfortable to do so,
Place one hand on your heart.
Just noticing that life force that flows through you.
This heart of yours is wise.
It knows what you need.
It knows when to rest,
When to push forward,
When to say yes and when to say no.
You have the power to choose what serves you.
You have the power to carry this heart-centered awareness with you as you step into your day.
Often as we go out into the world,
There are things to do,
Demands on our time and energy.
But this practice of coming back to yourself right here,
Right now,
Allowing yourself to rest in this truth that there is nothing to prove,
Nothing to earn,
Just this moment.
Right now you don't need to do anything.
You can just simply be.
The strongest people I know are often the ones who do not abandon themselves.
You have this strength.
It lives right here in your heart.
You have the courage to honor your own needs.
As you breathe into your heart space,
Imagine it expanding energetically.
Knowing that this wise heart knows your path and you trust its guidance.
You have everything you need within you.
The strength to face whatever comes today.
And the wisdom to navigate your choices.
When decisions arise,
Challenges come,
Return here to this place of inner knowing.
Feel the warmth and wisdom radiating from your heart.
This is your compass,
Your home base.
Your source of strength.
Now,
Let's seal this practice with some gentle affirmations.
So if this feels right,
Let these words settle into your heart and repeat after me.
I choose to care for myself with compassion today.
I trust my ability to navigate whatever comes.
I am learning and growing with each experience.
I accept myself exactly as I am,
Releasing any resistance to what is.
Feel those roots still connecting you to the earth.
This grounded,
Heart-centered energy is yours to carry with you.
Take a moment to appreciate yourself for the time that you've given yourself.
Now gently begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Move your shoulders if that feels good and let yourself slowly return.
And when you're ready,
Take your time opening your eyes.
Now take a deep breath into your heart.
