Welcome,
Beloved.
In this sacred pause,
The world outside begins to dissolve into a soft,
Distant hum.
There is no version of you that is required to perform here.
No part of your story that needs to be defended or explained.
You are simply arriving at the threshold of your own skin,
Returning to a landscape that has missed you.
Beneath you,
The earth rises like a steady,
Ancient palm to hold the architecture of your bones.
Allow yourself to be heavy,
To be held,
And to be entirely as you are.
You are a wild,
Holy geometry of breath and bone.
And in this space,
You are deeply,
Unconditionally welcome.
Let's take a breath now that feels like a long-awaited homecoming.
Inhale slowly through the nose,
Drawing the air down into the very bowl of the pelvis,
Feeling the quiet power of your own presence.
Hold that fullness for a heartbeat,
And then let it fall away through an open mouth,
A long,
Trailing sigh that carries the weight of the day out into the distance.
Inhale again,
Imagining a cool,
Silver-blue light entering the nostrils.
It is the color of starlight on still water,
Refreshing and clear.
Let it wash through the mind,
Smoothing the ripples of thought.
Exhale fully,
Feeling the shoulders drop away from the ears,
Unburdening the heart of everything it has been carrying.
Now,
Let the breath settle into its own ancient,
Effortless rhythm.
You are being breathed by the life force itself.
We begin the journey now,
Through the temple of the body.
As each part is named,
Imagine a drop of liquid rose light landing there,
Melting any tension into a pool of soft grace.
Bring your awareness to the right hand thumb,
The second finger,
The palm of the right hand,
The right shoulder,
The armpit,
The right side of the waist,
Heel,
Sole of the foot,
Top of the foot,
The right big toe.
Shift your awareness to the left hand thumb,
The second finger,
The left side of the waist,
Heel,
Sole of the foot,
Top of the foot,
The left big toe,
Second toe.
Move your awareness to the back of the left heel,
The entire length of the spine,
The right shoulder blade,
The left shoulder blade,
The back of the neck,
The right eyebrow,
The space between the brows,
The right ear,
The nose,
The tip of the nose,
The right collarbone,
The right side of the chest,
The left side of the chest,
The center of the heart,
The upper abdomen.
Feel the whole right leg,
Both arms together,
The whole torso,
The whole body.
Feel the entire body as a field of luminous silver rose light,
Shimmering with the softness of a glow.
Deep in the center of the chest,
At the altar of the high heart,
An ember of compassion begins to glow.
It illuminates the shadows.
If a whisper of self-criticism arises,
Meet it with the warmth of this inner fire.
See those harsh thoughts as tired travelers finally reaching a place of rest.
Wrap them in the silk of your own forgiveness.
Whisper to the cells of your body,
I am the sanctuary I have been seeking.
I am the grace I thought I had to earn.
Feel the weight of the body resting on the floor.
Begin to wake the physical form with small movements in the fingers and toes,
Carrying this silver rose softness with you back into the waking world.
When you are ready,
Open your eyes.
You are returned.
You are whole and you are deeply loved.
Thank you beautiful soul for practicing with me today.
