This is the seat of your sovereignty.
The place where your I am radiates with the warmth of a steady hearth.
Within you is an authority that is both firm and kind.
A deep seated knowing that you are the primary occupant of your own life.
The solar plexus is the sun of your internal landscape.
When we tend to this flame,
We experience a quiet,
Unwavering confidence that requires no proof and no defense.
We recognize that our strength is an inherent part of our design,
As natural and inevitable as the light of day.
Visualize yourself standing in a high,
Open field at high noon.
There is no shadow here.
You are standing before a great golden sun.
And as you look upon it,
You realize its light is not falling upon you,
But is radiating from you.
You are the source of the heat.
To honor this center is to stand in the fullness of your life and acknowledge your capacity to be seen and to be bright.

We light the lanterns and celebrate the heat of your own presence.
Begin with a breath of fire.
Take a sharp,
Deep inhale through the nose.
Feeling the belly snap outward,
And then a powerful exhale through the nose.
Feeling the navel pull back toward the spine.
Do this three times,
Stoking the embers of your center.
Now,
Let the breath settle into a long,
Golden rhythm.
Place one hand over your solar plexus,
Just above the navel,
And the other over your heart.
Feel the rise and fall of your breath as it meets the center of power.
As you inhale,
Imagine a golden light expanding from your belly,
Radiating outward until it touches your skin.
Feel your spine growing tall,
As if a thread of light is pulling the crown of your head toward the sky,
Creating a natural sense of dignity.
The warmth of your palm feeds the fire within.
You are becoming luminous.
Gently draw your shoulder blades together and down,
Opening the space of the solar plexus even further.
Breathe into the space behind your ribs,
Creating a sense of inner roominess.
You are a vessel for the sun.
Feel the steady glow at the pit of your stomach,
A heat that says you are sovereign.
You are capable.
And you are whole.
Soften the muscles of your face while keeping the strength in your core.
You are landing in your power.
With every breath,
Feel your sovereignty becoming more solid.
More radiant.
And more certain.
This is the somatic truth of your worth.
You are the light.
You are the fire.
And you are home.
And as you move back into the world,
