There is a beautiful beam of light coming from above.

Invite it to enter your body and let it flow.

As it flows it will help you to release any tension and discomfort.

Imagine it washing over your face,

Over your forehead,

Eyelids,

Cheeks,

Nose,

Lips,

Your face completely relaxes now.

It flows through your jaws and unlocks them helping you relax even deeper now.

This light is flowing through your neck and shoulders.

Neck and shoulders become relaxed.

Flowing through the arms,

Washing over the elbows,

It's reaching the wrists now.

And now even every finger gets filled with this light.

All relaxed now.

And now this light is flowing through the back,

Washing over each disc of the spine,

Releasing any tension.

This light is flowing through the chest and the stomach,

Washing away any heaviness,

All the stagnation,

Any discomfort.

This light is flowing through the hips now,

Washing over your knees,

Calves,

Ankles,

And each toe is now filled with this light.

And you feel them relax completely.

You are now standing on top of a staircase.

Create this beautiful staircase in your imagination and make it just the way you like.

Make it strong and beautiful.

Is it intricately carved wood?

Is it beautiful marble?

Is it encrusted with gems?

Or something more plush and luxurious?

Now you are standing on top of this beautiful staircase.

There are ten steps down and you know that by the time you reach the bottom of that staircase,

You will reach the level of relaxation that is perfect for you in this moment.

It will be the deepest level of relaxation that you have ever experienced.

I will start counting now from 10 down to 1.

As I count,

Imagine,

Visualize taking each step down.

And as you do,

Just allow your body to relax a little bit deeper.

Even if you wanted to look back now,

You wouldn't notice any of it.

It's all blocked out.

But you want to look ahead.

You know now that you can focus completely on your journey,

And make the most of it.

You feel an urge to walk in a certain direction.

You don't understand why,

But you know that you must follow the urge.

As you walk deeper and deeper into the forest,

You feel connected.

You belong here.

You begin to hear sounds of water.

You know that you are approaching a river.

The area becomes covered with a thick fog.

You hear a voice now.

It's soft and gentle.

It's a female voice calling your name.

You can tell that she is happy that you are there.

She excitedly tells you,

Hurry,

And to get in the boat.

As you make your way through the fog,

You see a goddess.

She is smiling and welcoming you into the boat.

You sense that you can trust her completely.

Make yourself comfortable in the boat.

She orders you to just hold on.

There are other ladies in the boat with you,

And they are just as excited as you are,

Although none of you are quite sure yet what is about to happen.

Behold,

As these subtle hints of change begin to unveil their secrets before your eyes,

Nature's hand gracefully orchestrates the shifting of seasons,

Painting a new portrait upon the canvas of existence.

The once vibrant emerald blades of grass relinquish their verdant hue,

As if preparing for a grand masquerade.

A chilling breeze caresses your skin,
