For this short sitting meditation,

Let's begin by sitting down in a chair.

Make yourself as comfortable as possible,

With your back straight,

Your shoulders relaxed.

For this minute,

You have no place to be but here.

Breathe in the air,

Look around you,

Listen to any sounds you can hear.

You are alive.

Feel any bodily sensations.

Notice the feel of the chair under your sit bones,

The weight of your feet on the floor.

Feel the temperature of the air on your skin and as it enters your nostrils.

You are alive.
