Psalm 118 - A Meditation Psalm & Prayer Of Confidence

Psalm 118 expresses the everlasting love and nature of God’s lovingkindness and tender mercy. It invites 3 different types of praise from us. One of divine praise, public praise and personal and intimate praise. When we feel distressed, we are to call on the name of Lord. When we do not pray we remain in the state of distress. We cannot depend on our own resources when in distress. We must trust God and take him at his word. He is able and will deliver and heal us if we call out to him.
