A moment of meditation and worship.
I will be reading from Psalm 118.
Thank God because he is good,
Because his love never quits.
Tell the world Israel his love never quits.
And you clan of Aaron,

And you who fear God join in,
His love never quits.
Pushed to the wall,
I called to God.
From the wide open spaces,
He answered.
God's now at my side and I am not afraid.
Who would dare lay a hand on me?
God is my strong champion.
I flick off my enemies like flies.
Far better to take refuge in God than trust in people.
Far better to take refuge in God than trust in celebrities.
Hemmed in by barbarians,
In God's name I rub their faces in the dirt.
Hemmed in and with no way out.

Like swarming bees,
Like wild prairie fire,
They hemmed me in.

I was right on the cliff edge ready to fall when God grabbed and held me.
God is my strength.
He also my song.
And now he is my salvation.
Hear the shouts,
Hear the triumph songs and the camp of the saved.
The hand of God has turned the tide.
The hand of God is raised in victory.

I didn't die,
I lived.
And now I'm telling the world what God did.
God tested me.
He pushed me hard.
But he didn't hand me over to death.
Swing wide the city gates,
The righteous gates.
I'll walk through and thank God.
This temple gate belongs to God.
So the victors can enter and praise.
Thank you for responding to me.
You've truly become my salvation.
The stone the mason is discarded as flawed is now the capstone.
This is God's work.
We rub our eyes,
We can hardly believe it.
This is the very day God acted.
Let's celebrate and be festive.

He has bathed us in light,
Adorned the shrine with garlands and colored banners above the altar.

Most kind and righteous and eternal Heavenly Father,
We bless you today.
We thank you for a brand new day,
A day that we've never seen before.
Thank you for life.
Thank you for health.
Thank you for strength.
Thank you for peace.
Thank you for joy.
Thank you for your wisdom,
Your kindness,
And your tender mercy.
Thank you for the breath of life.
Thank you for eyes to see,
Ears to hear.
Thank you for lips to speak.
Thank you for lungs that breathe air.
Thank you for hands that can hold,
That can show love,
That can embrace.
Thank you for feet to walk.
Thank you for a mind to think clearly.
Thank you for discernment to separate good from bad.
We thank you this morning.
We thank you for peace,
For joy,
For love,
For strength,
For goodness,
For temperance,
For meekness.
We thank you for your everlasting love.
Thank you for favor.
Thank you for protection.
Thank you for strength to go from day to day.
Thank you for a desire to live life you desire us to live.
Thank you for family,
For friends,
For loved ones,
Even our enemies.
Thank you for community.
Thank you for light.
Thank you for the sun,
The moon,
And the stars.
Thank you for the wind.
We love you today.
We bless you.
We praise you,
God.
You alone is worthy to be exalted.

We look to you,
Our sustainer,
Our friend,
Our keeper,
Our deliverer.

Thank you for healing our bodies from sickness and disease.
Thank you for healing our minds.
Thank you for strengthening us.
Thank you for protecting our families.
Thank you for our spouses.
Thank you for our children,
Our mother,

Our sister,
Our brother,
Our relatives,
Our grandparents.
Thank you for all your manifold blessings,
God.
We love you today.
We could not make it without you.
You alone is worthy to be exalted.
And you alone is worthy to be praised.
We lift your name high,
High above the heavens.

Bless our coming and our going today.
Provide for our every needs according to your riches and glory.
Thank you for the food that we eat.

Thank you for protection.

There is none like you this morning.
There is none above the heavens.

Preserve us and keep us and strengthen us and hold us and love us.
Hold us until the storms of life are past.
Hold us in your bosom.
Hold us in your arms of safety.
Keep us.

Remember those of us that are weary,
That are tired,
That are exhausted,
Those of us that are crying out to you,
God.
Remember your people today.
We look to you,
My God,
Sustainer of the universe.

We thank you for your presence.

Thank you for your goodness.
Thank you for courage.
Thank you for strength.
Hold us fast in the palm of your hands and keep us safe until the storms of life are past.
We bless you now.

We magnify you and we lift you up.
There is no other name.
We say yes to your will and we say yes to your way.
God,
