If the body’s home but the mind is still at work - replaying conversations, carrying pressure, running tomorrow - this practice helps you come down by degrees. We’ll start with support: letting the body be held, noticing where you’re still bracing, and giving yourself a moment to arrive as you are. Then we’ll use a soft sigh out through the mouth, before moving into a calmer, longer exhale through the nose - not to “do it right”, just to help the system recognise the day is easing its grip. If you feel overwhelmed, keep it simple. Stay with the contact points of the body and let the breath be natural, eyes open if you need that steadiness. You’re allowed to go at your pace. When you finish, notice one honest marker: a quieter jaw, a heavier lower body, a little less charge. Let the rest of your evening begin from there.
