My name is Zeal and I'll be guiding you through a calming meditation.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in and gently exhale.
Allow your body to relax,
Your shoulders to soften,
And your mind to relax.
There is nowhere else to be,
Nothing else to do,
Just this moment of peace.
Now bring your attention to your breath.
Notice the natural rhythm,
The rise and fall of your chest,
The gentle flow in and out.
With each inhale,
Imagine drawing in God's presence.
With each exhale,
Release stress,
Worry,
And fear.
Philippians 4,
Verse 6 to 7 reminds us do not be anxious about anything,
But in everything By prayer and supplication,
With thanksgiving,
Let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God,
Which surpasses all understanding,
Will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
As you reflect on these words,
Imagine a warm,
Radiant light filling your heart,
God's peace.
Feel it spreading through your chest,
Your shoulders,
Your arms,
Down to your hands,
And flowing into your entire body.
Silently repeat these affirmations.
I release my worries to God.
I trust in His perfect plan.
His peace guards my heart and my mind.
Now visualize the challenges of your day as small stones in a gentle stream.
With each breath,
The water carries them away,
Leaving you lighter,
More free and calm.
Let your mind rest in the knowledge that you are held,
Supported,
And guided by divine love.
Now,
As this session comes to a close,
Take a deep breath,
Nourishing breath,
And exhale slowly,
Letting gratitude fill your being.
Rest in this presence.
Carry this calm into your day,
Or allow it to guide you into deep,
Restful sleep.
