This is a pause just for you.

Find a place to sit or lie down and allow yourself to sink into comfort.

And if you haven't already,

Close your eyes or soften your gaze.

There is nothing to do,

Nowhere to be.

Just this breath,

Just this moment.

So take a deep breath in through your nose,

Slow and steady,

Like you're drawing in a scent of a blooming flower or fresh rain.

That's it.

And exhale gently through your mouth,

Like you're blowing out a candle in the dark.

Feel the release.

Feel the ease.

Okay,

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Slow and steady,

Like you're drawing in a scent of a blooming flower or fresh rain.

That's it.

Exhale.

And now exhale gently through your mouth,

Like you're blowing out a candle in the dark.

That's it.

Slow and gentle,

Feel the release.

Feel the ease.

Okay,

Breathe in.

Invite it in,

Softness.

Breathe out.

Releasing all that feels heavy.

Okay,

One more time.

Breathe in deeply,

Like life itself is flowing through you.

Breathe out fully,

Letting everything gently settle.

The light within you.

Now,

Bring your awareness to the centre of your chest.

There,

Inside of you,

Lives a soft,

Steady light.

This light is your calm.

This light is your strength.

With every breath in,

Feel it grow warmer,

Stronger.

With every breath out,

Let it spread,

Like a protective golden glow wrapping around you.

Breathe in,

Fuelling this light with warmth and safety.

Breathe out,

Letting it surround you completely.

Breathe in,

And let this light expand through your heart,

Your entire being.

Breathe out,

As it softens every muscle,

Every thought,

Every worry.

Let's just stay here for a moment,

With that soft,

Steady light.

Feel this calm settle deep inside.

This is who you are beneath the noise.

With every inhale,

You grow steadier.

With every exhale,

You let go of what no longer serves you.

Breathe in,

Letting your heart open.

Breathe out,

Feeling completely safe.

Breathe in,

Trusting this moment,

This breath.

Breathe out,

Knowing you are held.

Your safe place,

Always here.

No matter what happens today,

Or did today,

No matter what thought survives,

This calm,

This light,

This breath,

It belongs to you.

Let's say that again.

This calm,

This light,

This breath,

It belongs to you.

It's here when you need it.

Just close your eyes,

Return to your breath,

And let it bring you home.

You are safe,

You are loved,

And you are stronger than you know.

So when you're ready,

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,

Open your eyes,

And take this unshakable calm with you.
