When looking to connect to spirit guides, often we have expectations of gender, form, and name. Who is my guide? In this meditation set yourself free from all those conditions and simply allow yourself to feel the love of their presence. In order to enhance your ability to sense and feel the presence of loving guides this track has no background music.

Welcome,

Everyone,

To this meditation on Meeting Spirit Guides.

Sit back and relax,

Or lay down if you feel more comfortable,

But don't allow yourself to fall asleep.

So maybe staying propped up somewhat would be helpful.

Take a few breaths.

You can leave your eyes open or close them if you like.

Whatever makes you feel more comfortable.

Let these next few breaths you take just relax you.

Release you from your duties,

Either from earlier in the day or the ones you feel are coming ahead.

Let these breaths attune you to how your body feels.

Areas of your body that may feel tight,

Constricted.

Or your breath may even inform you of how relaxed you already are feeling.

Just becoming aware of where you're at physically.

Because the physical body is often a great system for letting us know when our guides are near.

So I want you just to breathe and become very aware of how your feet feel.

Your legs feel.

How about your hips?

The joints of your body.

What does your lower stomach feel like in your chest as you relax and breathe here?

What about your shoulders and your upper back?

And your arms down into your hands.

What about the palms of your hands?

What do they feel like?

What about up into your neck?

Your throat?

The back of your head?

Your face?

And the crown of your head?

Relax and breathe into the full awareness of your body at this moment in time.

And as our mind is engaged during the day,

It's often pulling us away from this body awareness.

The awareness of our physical being.

How we're doing in our physical being.

Maybe we're not aware of the fact that our shoulders are up near our ears.

Maybe we're not consciously aware of the fact that we're not taking a deep breath.

Maybe when we become aware of our breathing,

We realize we haven't been breathing.

So deepen your awareness into your whole body.

Because what exists in the world around your whole body all the time is the attendance of loving guides.

You're never actually alone.

And so as you sit there and you breathe,

And you're aware of your physical body,

And now you're aware of any discomfort that you have,

Places that are nice and relaxed,

You turn your attention towards the space around your body.

And it's in this space that a profound sense of love is present for you always.

Your mind is distracted during the day,

Focusing itself on desires,

Or problems,

Or challenges.

It's attention on things external in your life.

It's focused on identity,

Even,

Of who you are,

Who you are in the world,

How you feel about the world around you.

But in the space around your body is an aliveness,

An attentiveness,

A presence,

If you want to call it that,

Of loving guides,

Of the divine itself,

God,

The Creator,

The universe,

Always ever-present.

Just like your breath,

That is constantly flowing in and out,

Is this attendance of this beautiful love.

When you entered into this world,

You came with guidance,

You came with guides.

Guides don't often care what you call them.

They're not focused on their identity,

But they bring a quality to you.

They bring an offering of peace,

They bring an offering of compassion,

They bring the offering of,

I'm here.

Turn your attention away from your thoughts,

And turn your awareness towards the space around you,

Around your body.

It's like a warm hug,

Perfect attendance to your life,

Perfect presence of friendship,

Of guidance.

See if you can allow yourself this awareness now.

As you're just relaxing and breathing,

Aware of your body and now aware of this love that's all around you,

You may say to these guides,

To this loving presence in the space around you,

You may say,

I'm really struggling with whatever you're struggling with.

Speak it out to them,

And then let the thought go.

And feel,

If you can,

With your body,

Not a thought response from them,

A feeling from them.

Does your body warm up?

Do you feel tingling over your back or over your head,

Maybe down your arms?

Feel a loving response of presence.

Most often,

At the end of the day,

When it comes to our issues or our problems or our challenges,

It's not that we really need someone to fix them for us.

We just need to feel like we're not alone.

And you're not.

In the space around you,

As you sit and breathe right now,

There is love directed towards and perfectly made for you.

Doesn't matter where you've been,

What you've done,

Or how you think,

Or what you're going through.

This is a love that you came into this earth world with,

And a love that it would be really good if your body could recognize.

So just relax,

And breathe,

And feel the presence of this perfect love.

This is your spirit guide,

The one that came in with you,

The one that wants to let you know that it's near,

And it's holding your hand through this whole journey.

Just feel in your body what it is to sit with this love.

Don't try to figure it out in your mind.

And as we release from it,

It's not going anywhere.

You can come back to it at any time.

Just quiet yourself,

Relax into your body,

Become aware of your body,

And then become aware of the love that surrounds it.

Take a nice deep breath,

And now move about your day,

Or go into your sleep,

Knowing that this attendance is always here.
