Let's take a moment to breathe,
To pause,
To stop.
As we're busy in the midst of our day,
With our minds anchoring into the future of what needs to get done,
Any current problems or stresses,
Any regrets of the past,
It's healing to stop,
Pause,
And breathe into the present moment.
This may be something you hear repetitively,
Stop,
Pause,
Breathe,
Become present,
But this is why we have what's called a spiritual practice or a spiritual discipline.
Because it takes practice and discipline to keep bringing ourselves back to the awareness that we are not just humans doing,
We're humans being.
And this very being that we are is wise,
Unrestricted,
Peaceful,
Passionate,
Intelligent,
Creative.
And when our minds become the master,
Chaotic and conflicted,
Full of too much information pulling us this way and that way,
We can often get lost and forget that we have the power,
That the higher mind has the ability to pull us back,
Back into this present moment where we can connect.
So let's do that now.
Close your eyes for a moment,
Become still,
Breathe in deep,
And release and let go.
Leave the mental chatter behind.
Just stop,
Pause,
Breathe in deep.
Let that breath fill your whole body.
It's all okay,
Everything's okay.
Even when it's not,
It's temporary,
It's momentary.
Your power is in your awareness of this moment,
That outside of all the things that are going on,
Outside of all the deadlines and complications,
And the must-dos and the have-to-haves,
Is the greatest gold.
The greatest gold is you.
Just you.
Pause and deepen your appreciation of your being upon this earth.
Reconnect to the knowing that you came here for a reason,
That you have a wonderful purpose in being here,
And that the smaller details that seem so important right now,
They're going to pass you by.
The challenge you're in right now is going to be a part of yesterday,
And you'll be past it.
You'll have shifted through it.
So while you're in the midst of it,
Pause,
Breathe,
Relax,
Let go,
And start again.
You can do this many times a day,
Many times a week,
Every time you feel yourself spinning out of control.
Or maybe it's not even that bad.
Maybe your mind is just chewing on a problem,
Trying to tear it apart.
You can't see how it can be resolved.
The moment your mind starts working in that very frustrated way,
Just pause,
Stop,
Breathe fully into your body,
Release and let go,
And then start again.
You're doing great.
