Let's start by slowing down the breath.
Take a nice deep breath in.
And a long slow breath out.
Slowing down the breath helps you take you out of the stress response and moves you towards relaxation.
So let's take five more deep breaths together.
Breathing in slowly.
Breathing out softly.
Allow each exhale to be a little longer than the inhale.
And just let go of any tension you may be holding.
If it feels comfortable and safe for you to do so,
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.
As we move through these affirmations,
