When the world seems like it is falling apart,
A guided meditation with Cloud Goddess.
Even amidst chaos,
There is stillness.
Even when the world feels like it is crumbling,
There is a calm within you.
We will try and reach this calm today in this meditation.
Find a quiet space where you won't be disturbed.
Sit or lie down comfortably.
Close your eyes gently.
Take a few deep breaths,
Inhaling slowly and deeply through your nose,
And exhaling slowly and deeply through your mouth.
Gently bring your attention to your breath.
Notice the natural rhythm of your inhalation and exhalation.
As you inhale,
Feel a cool air entering your body,
Nourishing every cell.
As you exhale,
Imagine any stress or anxiety leaving your body,
Like smoke dissolving into the air.
Now,
Let's gently scan your body.
Start with your toes,
Noticing any sensations,
Warmth,
Coolness,
Tingling,
Or any tension you might be holding.
Acknowledge these sensations without judgment.
If you encounter any areas of tension,
Imagine a warm,
Soothing light gently enveloping those areas.
Allow the light to melt away any tightness,
Leaving behind a sense of peace and relaxation.
Slowly move your attention upwards from your toes,
Scanning your feet,
Ankles,
Calves,
Knees,
Thighs,
Hips,
Your solar plexus,
Your heart,
Your arms,
Your elbows,
Forearms,
Wrists,
Hands,
Fingers,
Your shoulders,
Your neck,
Your head,
Your face,
Gentle eyes.
Now,
Imagine yourself standing in a safe,
Sheltered place amidst a raging storm on the seaside.
Looking out at the ocean,
You see a large rock coming out of the water,
And it is being hit on all sides by raging water.
The sea from below,
The storm from above.
This is a terrible storm.
The wind howls,
The rain lashes down,
But the rock remains unmoved.
You are that rock.
You are strong,
Grounded,
And unshakable.
You,
As this rock,
Are connected to the earth beneath all that water.
While everything whirls around you,
Feel your connection to the earth.
You realize that this storm is only temporary,
And you remain.
Now,
Visualize a safe and peaceful place.
It could be that same beach,
Or a forest,
Or a meadow.
Imagine the sights,
The sounds,
The smells of this place.
Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin,
The gentle breeze on your face.
As you immerse yourself in this peaceful scene,
Allow yourself to let go of any worries or any anxieties.
Imagine them as storm clouds drifting across the sunny sky,
Slowly fading away.
Focus on this present moment.
This moment is all that truly exists.
Let go of all the past and all the future.
Find peace and tranquility in the now.
We'll bring our attention back to our breath.
With each breath,
Feel your body becoming more relaxed,
Your mind becoming more clear.
You are the rock,
And you have emerged from the storm.
As we end this meditation,
Bring your awareness back to your surroundings.
Wiggle your toes and fingers.
Continue breathing,
And gently open your eyes.
Remember that even in the midst of chaos,
There is stillness within you.
You are strong,
Resilient,
And capable of navigating any storm.
Take a few moments to savor the sense of calm and peace that you have cultivated within yourself.
