A teacher's blessing. May you know that you are chosen to empower the child. May you embrace your uniqueness. No criticisms allowed. You are the gift. Affirm this with a smile. May you know that you are brave. Stand strong. Be proud. May you invite joy with you today, Because all you had, You gave away. And at the end of your school day, May you look in the mirror and say, Thank you for the difference you've made today. Hello, I am Cheryl J. I like to put an O-Y at the end of that. I am affirming my joy and I am sharing this with you today. Thank you so much for choosing to listen to my poem. It comes from a place of wonderful teachers that I have experienced over the course of my life, And as the season of school begins, I would love for you to be encouraged by this poem. May it ignite a fire that have you to continue to share with passion and purpose. To your students. May all teachers be blessed with joy in your hearts for the miraculous gift of teaching.
