Find a comfortable position.
And allow your attention to settle on the natural rhythm of your breath.
Notice the inhale arriving on its own.
Notice the exhale leaving on its own.
And as you settle here.
Bring your awareness to the many ways life asks us to adapt.
Not because we want to.
Not because we're ready.
But because circumstances change,
Plans shift,
People leave,
Opportunities appear and disappear,
And suddenly we're standing somewhere we never expected to be.
Perhaps you know this feeling.
The feeling of investing your energy into a particular outcome.
Believing you knew exactly where you were headed.
Only to discover that life had other plans.
And there can be grief in that.
Even when something new is waiting for us.
Even when the redirection ultimately serves us.
There is often a period of disorientation.
A space is created between what was and what will be.
And you enter a season where the map no longer matches the landscape.
Take a slow breath in.
And a slow breath out.
If you're moving through a season of uncertainty right now.
See if you can offer yourself a little bit of compassion.
Not because you need fixing.
But because change asks a lot of us.
It asks us to release certainty.
It asks us to loosen our grip on expectations.
It asks us to continue forward even when we can't clearly see what's ahead.
And that takes courage.
Oftentimes more courage than we give ourselves credit for.
Notice what it feels like to acknowledge that.
Notice the strength it takes to begin again.
Notice the strength it takes to adjust.
The strength it takes to remain open even when disappointment would rather convince us to close.
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
Sometimes we assume that growth feels inspiring.
But it often feels like confusion.
It feels like being stretched beyond what is familiar to self,
As if you're standing at a crossroads with no obvious sign pointing the way.
And yeah.
Some of the most meaningful shifts in our lives begin in that very moment,
Not when everything is clear.
But when we decide to keep moving despite the lack of clarity.
Allow that idea to settle.
You do not have to know exactly where this path leads in order to walk it.
You only need enough willingness to take the next step.
And then the next.
And then,
The next.
Imagine for a moment that every unexpected turn in your life has contributed something to who you are today.
Not because every experience was pleasant.
Not because every challenge was necessary,
But because you learned.
Adapted.
Expanding.
You became someone capable of navigating what once felt impossible.
Take a breath and reflect on that version of yourself.
The version that has already survived difficult seasons.
The version that found a way forward before.
The version that is still here now.
There is wisdom in that.
There is evidence in that.
Evidence that you are more adaptable than you think.
You are more resilient than you realize.
And you are more capable of meeting change than you often give yourself credit for.
As we begin to close,
Consider this.
Perhaps redirection is not asking you to become someone new.
Perhaps it is simply asking you to discover strengths that have been there all along.
To trust your ability to respond,
To adjust.
To grow.
To continue.
Take a final deep breath in.
And a complete breath out.
And as you return to the rest of your day.
Carry with you the understanding that change in direction does not mean you've lost your path.
Sometimes it simply means the path is still unfolding and you are unfolding with it.
You
