Allowing a pause in your busy day,

Body relaxed as best as you can,

Balanced,

Aware.

Planting your feet on the ground beneath,

Tuning into the firmness of the surface,

Inviting a sense of stability,

Feeling into your body as if you were taking possession of every part of it.

Commonly,

We inhabit our minds and leave our lives a little bit away from our bodies.

In this very moment,

Allow yourself to drop down into your head,

Your neck and shoulders.

Allow yourself to inhabit your arms and your fingers,

Your chest and your torso and belly,

Your hips,

Your legs,

Your feet,

Noticing your breath,

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

In and out.

It's okay.

It's okay.

Whatever you're feeling now,

Although unpleasant,

Uncomfortable or painful,

It will pass.

It will pass.

Your only job is to breathe in and out.

May you gather the strength and the patience to see yourself through this moment.
