This meditation will lead you to rest in the presence of divine love.
There will be no ending bell,
So you can extend the meditation as long as you like,
Or go to sleep.
Find a comfortable position.
I recommend lying down so you can completely relax,
But do what feels natural to you.
We will start with our breath.
First,
Become simply aware of it.
Your inhale and exhale connects you to the rest of creation.
Now,
Let's control it by breathing to a count.
Our exhale will be longer than our inhale.

Let your breath find a steady rhythm again.
Now,
Let's relax our body,
Starting with your toes.
Curl,
And then relax them.
Breathe in and out.
Now let your ankles and the muscles in your feet relax.
Relax your lower legs.
Tense your powerful thigh muscles and relax them.
Breathe in and out.
Enjoy the feeling of relaxed legs.
Now tense your buttocks and release them slowly.
Relax your abdominal muscles.
Breathe in and out.
Let your back muscles relax with each exhale.
Breathe in and out.
Shrug and then release your shoulders.
Let those muscles relax.
Your biceps,
Your hands.
Make fists and then relax your fingers.
Breathe in and out.
Bring your focus to your neck and relax it as much as you can.
Your neck works every moment of every day.
Let it go.
Relax your jaw and drop your tongue.
Let your facial muscles relax.
Breathe in and out.
Enjoy your relaxed state.
Rest in it.
Imagine a soft,
Warm pillow with just enough weight to feel it gently press against your chest.
Imagine you are hugging it to yourself.
Breathe in and out.
This pillow brings a solidity to your relaxation.
Imagine now that this pillow is the love of the divine,
Of God,
Of your creator.
Its soft weight presses into your chest,
Gentle and comforting,
As you hold it.
It is not asking anything of you.
It is not requiring that you do or be anything other than what you are right now.
It simply is.
Breathe in and out.
Imagine that the surface you are laying on is an extension of this pillow.
What is supporting you from below is also the love of the divine.
Your creator's love is surrounding you,
Holding your relaxed body.
There are no demands here,
Only an embrace of rest.
Breathe in and out.
Stay in this space as long as you like.
There is no reason to leave.
Here,
You are loved.
Rest in that divine,
Perfect love.
