Protective Prayer

This is a prayer of protection from the biblical Old Testament. It is not meant to only serve those who are religious and consider themselves Christian, it is meant to serve any and everyone who struggles with anxiety, depression, shame, guilt, etc. that are in need of a reminder that they are protected by something greater than themselves.

The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. He maketh me lie down in green pastures. He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restores my soul. He leaded me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. I will fear no evil. For thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff, They comfort me. That prepares the table before me in the presence of mine enemies. Thou anointest my head with oil. My cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me. All the days of my life. And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord. Forever. Pass me not, O gentle Savior.
