Hello.
I'm Beth,
And I want to thank you for joining Calm in Minutes.
If worrying about money has your mind racing or your body holding tension,
This meditation is here to help you slow down and find a little balance.
Begin by either taking a seat or lying down,
Whichever feels right for you.
Let your hands rest softly.
If it feels safe,
Close your eyes.
Otherwise,
Lower your gaze.
Take a slow,
Steady breath in through your nose.
And gently exhale through your mouth.
If financial stress has been weighing on you,
Let yourself acknowledge that gently.
Money worries can feel deeply personal.
They can create fear,
Pressure,
And a constant sense of urgency.
If that is what you're carrying,
Know that you're not weak for feeling that.
Take another slow breath in.
And as you exhale,
Allow yourself to step out of the spiral for this moment.
There's no need to solve anything right now.
You only need to be here.
Bring awareness to your body.
Notice any place where the stress may be living inside you.
Behind your eyes.
In your jaw,
Maybe you feel tension in your shoulders.
Pressure in your chest.
Or an uneasy feeling in your stomach.
Breathe softly into any place that brings you feelings of tension.
With each inhale,
Invite in steadiness.
With each exhale,
Release some of the panic,
Some of the pressure,
Some of the fear.
Silently repeat,
I am safe in this moment.
I can slow down and breathe.
I don't need to carry this all at once.
On your next inhale,
Imagine your breath creating a little more space inside you.
Not to erase your concerns.
But to soften the grip they have on your body right now.
Financial stress often tells you everything is urgent.
Everything is too much.
Everything must be figured out immediately.
But in this moment,
Your breath can remind you that calm and clarity begin by slowing down.
Breathe in and silently say,
I welcome steadiness.
Breathe out and say.
I release pressure.
Again,
Inhale,
I welcome steadiness.
Exhale,
I release pressure.
Let your shoulders soften.
Let your jaw unclench.
Let your breathing become a little slower and easier.
You're allowed to care about your future without living in fear every second.
You're allowed to pause.
Regulate.
And return to yourself before taking your next step.
Rest here for a few more breaths.
There's nothing to fix right now.
Only this moment of grounding.
When you're ready,
Begin to come back gently.
Feel yourself here,
In this body,
In this moment.
Notice the space around you.
Let your breath guide you back slowly.
As you prepare to return to your day,
Carry this with you.
You don't have to solve everything in one moment.
You can care for yourself while facing what is hard.
And you can return to calm one breath at a time.
Namaste.
