Greetings and thank you for tuning into Calm in Minutes today.
If you've been carrying hurt,
Anger,
Or heaviness in your heart,
This meditation is a gentle invitation to soften and begin releasing what weighs on you.
Begin by settling into your position of comfort.
It doesn't matter if you're sitting or if you choose to lie down.
Let your hands relax.
If it feels right,
Close your eyes.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
And gently exhale through your mouth.
Again.
Breathe in deeply.
And exhale,
Allowing your entire body to soften.
Give yourself permission to arrive here.
We aren't going to try to solve anything right now.
Take this moment to breathe and be with yourself.
Gently.
If resentment has been sitting heavily in your heart.
Notice that without judgment.
Maybe it feels like anger?
Or hurt.
Or tightness,
Or a pressure you're tired of carrying.
You don't need to deny what happened.
You don't need to pretend it didn't affect you.
Your feelings are real.
And still,
You are allowed to seek peace.
Take another slow inhale.
And as you exhale.
Notice where this weight may have been living in your body.
Maybe it's in your chest.
Your jaw.
Your throat.
Your stomach.
Breathe into that space with kindness.
With each inhale.
Create a little more room around the pain.
With each exhale.
Soften the grip of what you've been holding.
Quietly repeat.
I honor what I feel.
I don't need to hold this so tightly.
I am allowed to make space for peace.
Imagine the difficult feelings you have been carrying,
Like pebbles in your hands.
You've carried them for too long.
They no longer need to remain with you.
Now.
In your own time.
Imagine tossing each pebble gently aside.
Feeling the weight of those feelings lighten as each pebble is released.
You haven't said it was okay.
You aren't rushing forgiveness.
You're simply allowing your body and mind to experience a little less burden.
Take a slow breath in and imagine breathing in softness.
Breathe out and release some of the tension that built around this pain.
If your mind returns to these feelings,
That's okay.
Observe them calmly.
Then,
Gently come back to your breath.
Again and again.
Return to this moment.
Breathe in and quietly say.
.
.
I release what I no longer want to carry.
Breathe out and say,
I make room for peace within myself.
Again,
Inhale,
I release what I no longer want to carry.
And exhale,
I make room for peace within myself.
Let your shoulders soften.
Let your jaw unclench.
Let your breath become a little steadier.
Rest here for a few final quiet moments.
There is no perfect way to let go.
Only this gentle willingness to lighten your own heart.
When you're ready,
Begin to notice the surface beneath you.
The air around you.
The rhythm of your breath.
Take one more deep inhale.
And exhale fully.
As you open your eyes or lift your gaze,
Carry this with you.
You can honor your pain without holding on to all of it.
You can release a little at a time.
And you can choose peace.
Even as you heal.
Namaste.
