Welcome in.
I'm Beth,
And you're listening to Calm in Minutes.
If you're moving through a season of change or beginning again,
This meditation offers a calm space to breathe and trust the path unfolding.
Find a position of comfort.
Either seated or lying down.
Let your hands rest loosely.
If it feels safe,
Close your eyes,
Otherwise lower your gaze.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
And gently exhale through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale deeply.
And exhale,
Allowing your body to soften.
Let yourself arrive here just as you are.
If you are in a season of starting over,
Know that it's okay if this feels tender,
Uncertain,
Or overwhelming.
New beginnings aren't always clean or confident.
Sometimes they arrive alongside grief,
Fatigue,
And not knowing.
Take another slow breath in.
And as you exhale,
Release the pressure to have everything figured out right now.
Bring your awareness to your body.
Notice the space behind your eyes.
Your jaw,
Your throat.
Your shoulders your chest.
Your stomach.
Notice where the uncertainty may be living in you.
Breathe into those places with gentleness.
With each inhale,
Invite in steadiness.
With each exhale,
Soften some of the fear of the unknown.
Silently repeat,
I don't need all the answers today.
I am allowed to begin again.
I can trust myself through change.
With your next deep breath,
Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a new path.
You might not see every step ahead,
And you don't need to.
You need only enough light for the next step.
Let go of the belief that starting over means you have failed.
Starting over can be wisdom.
Starting over can be courage.
Starting over can be an act of honoring what is true now.
Breathe in,
And silently say,
I trust the unfolding.
Breathe out and say,
I release the need to control every step.
Let your eyes relax.
Let your jaw soften back.
Let your shoulders lower Let each breath become slower and steadier.
You're allowed to be new here.
You are allowed to learn as you go.
You're allowed to carry both fear and hope at the same time.
Stay with me for a few more quiet breaths.
Remember that there's nothing to force.
Nothing to prove.
There is only this moment of grounding in the middle of change.
When you're ready,
Begin to notice the surface beneath you.
The air around you.
The gentle rhythm of your breath.
If your eyes were closed.
Open them now.
And take one more deep inhale.
And an even deeper exhale.
As you come back to full awareness,
Carry this with you.
You don't need to rush your becoming.
You can trust yourself through the transition.
And you can begin one breath and one step at a time.
Namaste.
