Welcome.
Find a comfortable position and gently bring your awareness into your body.
Feel the support beneath you.
Notice your breath.
Notice the quiet rhythm of your heartbeat.
There is nowhere you need to go.
And nothing you need to become.
Simply arrive.
So often we move through our days without noticing the extraordinary gift of this body.
It breathes without asking.
It heals in ways we cannot see.
It carries us through seasons of joy and sorrow.
Strength and struggle.
Even now,
Countless unseen processes are quietly sustaining your life.
The ancient blessing reminds us.
Asher yatsar et ha'adam.
Bechachmeh.
Who formed the human being with wisdom?
Allow those words to settle gently within you.
Your body is not an accident.
Every heartbeat,
Every breath.
Every cell reflects a wisdom far greater than we can fully understand.
Perhaps there are parts of your body that have known illness,
Injury,
Fatigue,
Or pain.
Perhaps there are places you have judged or wished were different.
For these few moments,
Let gratitude be stronger than judgment.
Meet your body with the kindness you would offer someone you deeply love.
Silently repeat.
Thank you,
Body.
Again.
Thank you,
Body.
Offer gratitude to your lungs for every breath.
To your heart for every beat.
To your hands for all they have held.
To your feet for every path they have walked.
Even the places that ache deserve your compassion.
For they too have carried your story.
Feel your breath flowing through your whole body.
With each inhale,
Receive gratitude.
With each exhale,
Soften judgment.
There is nothing to fix in this moment.
Simply honor the body that has faithfully carried you here.
Take one more slow,
Nourishing breath.
May you care for this body with kindness.
Listen to its wisdom.
And receive each day as a sacred gift.
Thank you for meditating with me today.
You
