Begin by settling your body.
Feel the surface beneath you and let your weight be supported.
Take a few steady breaths,
Allowing attention to rest in simple,
Present sensation.
Acknowledge that you stand within a lineage.
Lives came before you and lives will come after you.
You are a living link in that chain.
With respect,
Invite into awareness those ancestors whose presence supports healing and continuity.
You do not need to see them or know their names.
Simply acknowledge those who came before me,
Those through whom life reached me.
Notice how your body responds.
Where there is steadiness,
Warmth,
Or ease,
Let your attention rest there.
Now,
Gently recognize that some burdens have traveled through generations.
Fear,
Grief,
Silence,
Patterns shaped by survival.
You are not here to fix them all.
Bring attention to your breath.
As you inhale,
Sense life entering you.
As you exhale,
Allow the body to release what is not required to continue.
Silently affirm,
What can be healed through me,
I allow to be healed.
What does not belong to me,
I release.
With each exhale,
Imagine time moving forward with less constriction and less burden.
Healing does not require perfection.
It requires presence.
Sense yourself standing here,
Grounded in your own life,
Honoring those before you without carrying what is not yours.
Feel the dignity of your place in the lineage.
May you carry what is yours to carry and be free from what is not.
Take one final breath and allow this presence to settle within you.
