Welcome,
Beloved Soul.
This is a prayer for those who love deeply,
Who care fiercely,
And who long to remain steady in compassion,
Even when the world grows heavy.
O Eternal Breath,
Compassionate One who holds all hearts,
Fill us with the strength to persevere without hardening our hearts.
We have witnessed so much,
The ache of division,
The weariness of trying to mend what feels unmendable.
Still we choose love,
Still we choose care,
Teach us sacred balance to listen without absorbing,
To witness without drowning,
To offer presence without abandoning ourselves.
And may our eyes open wider beyond the systems of our differences,
Beyond the illusions of separation,
Into the shared breath that animates us all.
Let compassion be our endurance,
Not our exhaustion.
Let empathy be our clarity,
Not our confusion.
Wrap us in your great shawl of peace,
Woven from mercy,
Understanding,
And radiant strength.
Let the healer be healed,
The carer be cared for,
The giver be restored.
To the fountain of their own soul.
May we remember that true compassion flows from wholeness,
Not depletion,
That the open heart can be strong and the tender soul can stand clear.
O Source of Balance,
Let us serve from love,
Not rescue from fear.
Let empathy be the bridge,
Not the burden.
And may we rise again rooted,
Centered,
Faithful in the pulse of life itself,
Steadfast in compassion,
Unshaken in peace.
Amen.
