This breath is used for focus,
Confidence and flow states.
Box breathing can be used when you're heading into a high-stakes moment,
A pitch,
A presentation,
A difficult conversation,
Or any time you need to show up grounded,
Sharp and fully present.
This is the same technique used by Navy SEALs in the heat of extreme pressure.
Box breathing.
They will return to it again and again to steady their minds,
Regulate their nervous systems,
And enter a state of calm control no matter what's happening around them.
Confidence isn't something you think your way into,
It's something you breathe your way into.
Nervous system leads,
Mind follows.
This is how you take control before you enter the room.
Now,
It's your turn.
Let's breathe.
Find a space where you can sit,
Soften your gaze by closing your eyes,
Spine tall,
Feet grounded.
Feel the floor beneath you.
Feel your breath deepen just from paying attention.
We'll begin with two slow inhales and exhales.
Inhale through your nose for two,

Hold for two,
And exhale through pursed lips for two,

Four,
Five.
Six.
Again,
Inhale.
Hold.
Exhale.
And let nerves or energy melt off your body.
Now we're shifting into box breathing,
Where we will be breathing through the nose,
Inhaling for four,
Holding for four,
Exhaling for four,
And then holding for four.
Ensuring that you're breathing slowly into the belly,
And we'll breathe for ten rounds on my count.
Blow all the air out of your body.
