This breath is designed to empower you to ground quickly from anxiety,
Stress,
And overthinking.
You will return to presence within three minutes.
Silence your phone and turn off your technology.
This is your time.
Start off by sitting tall with your feet flat on the ground.
Close your eyes gently.
Place one hand on your heart and one on your belly.
As you begin to breathe,
Bring the air deep into the belly.
Let your belly rise like a balloon on the inhale and gently fall back in on the exhale.
We're going to begin with three grounding sighs.
Inhaling for four seconds,
Holding for two,
And exhaling through the mouth for four.
When you do,
I want you to make a sound,
Just letting go.
Let's start off by blowing everything out,
All the air in your body.
Inhaling through the nose for two,
Three,
Four,
Hold,
One,
Two.
Exhaling through the mouth with a beautiful sigh,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Softening the jaw,
Allowing your shoulders to drop.
Again,
Inhaling for two,
Three,
Four,
Hold,
One,
Two.
Exhaling with the sound,
Two,
Three,
Four.
And last one.
Inhale,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Holding at the top and letting go at the wrong side.
And return to a slow,
Steady breath through the nose.
Inhale,
Two,
Three.
Exhale,
Two,
Three.
Feel your body begin to settle,
Softening your shoulders and your jaw,
Your eyes.
Notice the contact points,
Your feet on the floor,
Your seat,
Your spine.
Say quietly to yourself,
I am safe,
I am here,
I am.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes,
Giving yourself gratitude and thanks for this time.
