This meditation is a collection of I am affirmations to start your day with intention.

An intention is a clear instruction.

It shapes what you notice,

What you choose and how you move throughout your day.

When you speak I am,

You name identity in the present tense.

That declaration organizes your thoughts,

Your emotions and your actions around what you intend to live.

Take these words as your direction for today.

Let us begin.

You can begin these affirmations seated,

Lying down or looking directly into the mirror.

Unclench your jaw.

Relax your face muscles.

Place one hand on your heart,

One hand on your belly.

Let's inhale.

Taking a deep breath through the nose.

Hold.

Now exhale slowly through the mouth and make the sound,

Ah.

Deep breath in again through the nose.

Hold.

Now slowly exhale through the mouth with an ah.

Ah.

Once more.

Deep breath in.

Make it a full,

Deep belly breath.

Hold.

And now slowly exhale through the mouth.

Ah.

Ah.

Now breathe at a natural pace.

Soften your face.

Calm your body and mind.

Let these words land.

Repeat them in your mind or speak them aloud.
