Grounding Meditation Find a comfortable position,
Sitting or lying down,
In a quiet space where you can truly relax.
Take your time to settle in.
If your position becomes uncomfortable at any time,
Gently adjust until you feel at ease.
Now,
Take a few seconds to find your ideal posture.
If you're sitting on a chair,
Let your feet rest naturally on the ground.
If your body is relaxed,
Your back straight but soft.
Slowly take a deep breath through your nose,
Counting to five.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
And breathe out through your mouth for five.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Repeat these three times at your own rhythm.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Each breath inviting calm.
Each exhale releasing any tension.
Let your body begin to soften.
Now,
Imagine roots growing from the soles of your feet.
Reaching deep into the earth.
With every inhale,
These roots grow and strengthen.
With every exhale,
They spread wider,
Anchoring you firmly.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Your feet feel heavier.
Steady.
Connected.
Your roots keep thickening,
Reaching farther.
Wrapping around the stones and soil they meet.
Firmly and lovingly holding on.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Now your feet are completely grounded.
Your ankles are grounded.
Your calves are grounded.
Your knees.
Your thighs.
And roots now extend from the base of your spine.
The lower half of your body is one with earth.
Take a few moments to sense this connection.
You are resting in deep stability and safety.
Feel the heartbeat of the earth pulsing through your roots.
Slow.
Steady.
Nurturing.
A rhythm smooths you.
Like a lullaby from below.
You are solid,
Presence,
Anchored.
If any thought appears,
Simply notice it.
Without judgment.
Let it drift away like a cloud in the sky.
You are a tree.
Calm.
Strong.
Rooted.
Your roots draw in the earth nourishing energy.
It rises through your entire body.
From your feet.
Up to the spine.
Through the chest.
Into your crown.
You feel safe.
Complete.
At home in your body.
You are in touch with your emotions.
Your instincts.
Your inner rhythm.
You welcome whatever comes knowing it serves your growth.
You are fully embodied.
You are grounded.
You are ready to move through life with strength and serenity.

And as you exhale,
Sink deeper into stillness.
You can meet life with courage.
Embracing all experiences your soul needs to grow.
You feel calm and balanced.
Your roots offer unwavering support and stability.

Silently repeat these affirmations after me.
I trust myself.
I trust the universe.
I am safe.
