This meditation is an invitation to meet yourself with gentleness — especially in the moments that ask the most of you. Through grounding affirmations and quiet reflection, you’ll be guided to remember that strength doesn’t always roar; sometimes it whispers, “I’m still here.” Together, we’ll breathe, soften, and find steadiness in the simple truth that you can do hard things — and you can do them kindly.

Greetings!

I'm so glad that you're here.

My name is Alexis Brightman and today's meditation is an invitation to meet yourself just as you are with steady soft strength.

Sometimes the world asks more of us than we think we can give and still here you are showing up.

So wherever you are allow yourself to settle in.

Let your shoulders fall away from your ears,

Unclench your jaw and take a slow easy breath in and a long gentle exhale out.

You don't have to fix anything right now.

You don't have to prove your strength.

Just breathe and let yourself be.

Let's begin by checking in with the body.

Notice the rise and fall of your chest.

Notice the steadiness in your breath,

A quiet rhythm that's carried you this far.

Now I'll share three affirmations,

Simple truths to anchor you when things feel heavy or hard.

Each time you hear them let them settle a little deeper like roots finding their ground.

Take a slow breath in and exhale softly.

I can meet what's hard with softness.

Let those words wash over you.

You don't have to push your way through everything.

Softness can be its own kind of strength.

Quiet,

Flexible and deeply wise.

I am stronger than I remember.

You've met moments like this before and each time you found a way through,

Maybe with trembling hands but still through,

Let that truth remind you,

You are resilient.

I trust myself to find my way.

There's no perfect map for being human,

But within you,

In your breath,

Your intuition,

Your heart,

Lives a quiet knowing.

You can trust it.

You can trust you.

Let's repeat those together once more for resonance and for remembering.

Breathe in deeply and exhale fully.

I can meet what's hard with softness.

I am stronger than I remember.

I trust myself to find my way.

And again,

Just let your breath guide the rhythm.

I can meet what's hard with softness.

I am stronger than I remember.

I trust myself to find my way.

One last time,

Gently,

Like a whisper to your own soul.

I can meet what's hard with softness.

I am stronger than I remember.

I trust myself to find my way.

Take one more slow,

Grounding breath in and release.

Notice how your body feels now,

Maybe a bit lighter or just a little more at ease.

You've given yourself the gift of pause,

Of presence,

Of self-kindness.

Remember,

Strength doesn't always roar.

Sometimes it's the quiet courage to keep showing up,

To breathe through the hard parts,

And to trust that you're finding your way.

Take one last deep breath in and a soft exhale out.

I thank you for being here with me.

May you move through your day with steadiness,

Softness,

And strength,

All living peacefully within you.

Until next time,

Be kind,

Stay open,

And trust yourself to find your way.

Be well.
