From my perspective,
I think one of the common barriers for being authentic and vulnerable for me anyways,
Was fear.
Right.
I was fear of judgment.
I was fear of rejection.
I was afraid of not being good enough.
And being misunderstood.
However,
I've been misunderstood my entire life.
No one really gets me.
I feel like I've always been different and I'm proving that even as I reinvented myself later in life,
I'm still proving that I'm misunderstood and different,
But I love it.
It's actually served me well.
So I am able to help the world and help myself in a different way.
That brings new life to.
You know,
The wellness industry and.
Natural healing,
Right?
So growing up I learned that it was important to work hard and push through and just do the things right and but I also realized that along the way that Um,
That I needed to make that change in order to Um.
.
.
Release the fears,
Right?
Because I was so programmed to work hard and push through.
So I had to release my own fears and come to a place of acceptance with not doing things.
The old way or old school style and forging my own path.
Not caring whether people accept it or not,
Or whether they understand it or not.
Whether,
If they don't accept it,
I don't feel a sense of rejection,
You either like me or you don't.
You either like what I do or you don't.
I don't sit there and wallow over it anymore.
I used to have a lot of worry and stress and anxiety over things like that.
Yeah,
I think for me,
Fear was the.
.
.
Main factor and it kind of ran.
Ran my life for the most part.
And now honestly,
I just feel like I am quite fearless and I actually encourage fearless self-healing for others.
So I think I've made big strides and have come a long way.
So I think that.
How vulnerability and authenticity help you win is sharing your story and your struggles.
It can show people that they can have that courage and take the first step as well,
Right?
And being authentic,
It creates those bonds and connections.
People trust you.
And then I think vulnerability gives us the courage to make difficult changes.
Pursue what truly matters and follow your passions.
And what matters to you instead of going with the flow and following the masses,
So to speak.
For me,
Learning to set boundaries as well was a big one because It protects your peace,
Right?
So I'm at a place in my life where that's a big thing.
It matters to me,
Protecting your peace.
So the best way to do that is.
.
.
In my view,
Is to have healthy boundaries,
Right?
You don't wanna give all your power away.
You don't wanna give it away at all,
But you don't wanna,
Most importantly,
You don't wanna lose yourself in the process,
Right?
And being able to accept yourself gives you the freedom to do that and to make those choices and have that courage and grow without needing the approval of other people.
So my healing journey,
I've definitely grown.
I've definitely you know,
Had a lot to ponder and think about and change and reflect on.
But I think in the end,
It has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life,
Even though it was quite challenging to go through all of these changes,
All the transitions and helping myself to get out of pain and reinvent my life.
So I'm living proof that it can be done.
Is it going to be easy?
No.
But honestly,
It's probably the most rewarding thing I ever did.
I am very proud of myself and I love myself for it.
To create a movement.
Oh yeah,
This is fun.
If I was to create a movement,
It would be to inspire people from around the world to really reconnect with themselves and listen to their bodies.
You know,
Really figure out.
What your body is trying to tell you,
Right?
Just paying attention.
We're always so busy and we're always rushing and we don't take the time to actually listen to our needs,
Truly.
I've been there,
I know this.
So we're carrying a lot of stress and emotional burdens,
And not only our own,
But our families,
Our children,
Our friends,
And it just compounds.
So being able to pay attention to what our bodies are telling us about all of this,
I think that is where it's at,
Is inspiring people to pay attention to themselves,
Right?
So we're so worried about everybody else all the time.
I think we need to put ourselves first.
Oh my goodness,
Okay,
If there was someone.
.
.
That I could have lunch with.
Anyone in this world,
I think Drew Barrymore is top of the heap for me,
Honestly.
I've admired her since I was young.
I remember when E.
T.
Was in the theater and I was sitting in the movie theater,
The very front row,
And just looking up at that screen and,
You know,
I just,
You couldn't help but fall in love with her,
Right?
She's the sweetest,
Kindest.
Person and that little girl.
I still see that little girl all the time.
So yeah,
Drew Barrymore is someone that I would definitely love to have lunch with.
Um,
Yeah,
And I think she's,
I really,
I've been a cheerleader of hers,
Her entire career and even seeing her today,
Like she's just genuine and.
She just does life.
Well,
I guess is a way to put it.
You know,
She's,
She's okay with it.
The imperfections.
She's okay with not having to be perfect all the time,
Even though I think she is totally perfect.
I,
You know,
I enjoy watching her videos when she's just,
You know,
No makeup,
Sweats on,
Just doing renovations or cleaning around.
Just as much as I enjoy seeing her all dolled up for her show and things like that.
So anyways,
I think her and I could have some great conversations and have a lot of fun.
So yeah,
Having lunch with her would be amazing.
Who knows,
You could lead to us cooking together,
And I know she likes to do that,
And whatever,
Right?
It'd just be a lot of fun,
Just whatever we did.
I think it would be great conversations and a lot of laughs.
But yeah,
I've admired her for her entire career,
And I think that she has one of the kindest,
Sweetest hearts out there,
And I don't know,
She just resonates with me.
So yeah,
True,
If you're out there.
Let's go for lunch.
Anyways,
Yeah,
She's she's pretty special So yeah,
That's me being authentic and vulnerable,
Just laying it out there.
If it resonates with someone,
Awesome.
If it doesn't,
Then that's okay,
Too.
So,
Yeah,
This is me,
And,
You know,
I love you.
I am an open book.
I think it's important to show the world that.
You're only human,
Just like everybody else.
