Settle in to a comfortable place.
Gently closing your eyes if it feels good for you.
Take a deep breath in.
And slowly let it go.
Feel the simple truth in this moment.
You are here.
You are alive.
Without trying to change anything,
Notice your breath.
The breath enters.
The breath leaves.
Again and again,
Over and over.
Most of the time this happens without you even asking it to.
Your heart beats.
Your body works continuously on your behalf.
Life is moving through you in this very moment.
Take another slow,
Deep breath.
And quietly say,
Thank you.
Not because everything has been easy.
Not because everything has gone according to plan.
Not because you have never known pain.
But because after everything.
You are here.
Think for a moment about the journey that brought you to this exact day.
Every road.
Every decision.
Every person.
Every heartbreak.
Every unexpected turn.
Every door that opened.
Every door that closed.
Some experiences you would gladly choose again.
Others you never would.
And yet somehow every chapter has become part of the person sitting here today.
Imagine your life as a long path stretching behind you.
See the younger versions of yourself walking that road.
The child you were.
The Teenager the young man or woman.
The one learning who they are.
The one who loved.
The one who lost.
The one who began again.
The one who survived things no one else fully understands.
The one who kept moving forward.
Look back at them with tenderness and say,
Thank you for getting me here.
Perhaps there were moments when you thought your life should have looked different.
Perhaps you compared your journey to someone else's.
Perhaps you questioned the timing.
Why this happened.
Why that did not.
Why the road seemed longer than you expected.
But for this moment,
Release the need to understand all of it.
And instead ask yourself.
What if my life is not late?
What if I have not missed my moment?
What if I am still becoming?
What if there is beauty ahead of me that I cannot yet imagine?
Take a deep breath in and let those possibilities open something inside you.
When you breathe out,
Release anything that no longer serves you.
Imagine now that you are standing at sunrise.
The horizon ahead of you begins to glow.
Soft light appears.
The darkness does not disappear all at once.
It gently gives way to the light.
And perhaps this is how life works too.
Not every new beginning arrives dramatically.
Sometimes it begins quietly.
With one new thought.
One decision.
One act of courage.
One moment of forgiveness.
One moment when you finally choose yourself.
Watch the sun rise before you.
Feel its warmth on your face.
And imagine that the light represents every possibility still waiting for you.
There are conversations you have not yet had.
People you have not yet met.
Places you have not yet stood.
Laughter you have not yet experienced.
Love you have not yet received.
Wisdom you have not yet discovered.
And perhaps prayers you once whispered that are still finding their way toward you.
Your story is not finished.
Let gratitude rise inside you.
Think of three simple things you are grateful for.
They do not need to be extraordinary.
Perhaps it's someone's voice.
A warm cup of coffee.
A person who loves you.
A pet.
A sunrise.
A memory.
A comfortable bed.
Music.
Laughter.
Or the ability to begin again.
Let each grateful thought.
Appear.
And after each one,
Silently say.
Thank you.
Now think of one difficult experience that eventually taught you something.
You do not need to be grateful for the pain itself.
You do not need to call something good if it was not good.
But perhaps you can honor what grew from it.
Strength,
Discernment,
Compassion.
Boundaries,
Courage,
Faith.
Self-respect.
Or wisdom.
Now silently say.
.
.
I honor what I learned.
I honor who I became.
Now bring your awareness to joy.
Somewhere along the way.
Many of us begin postponing joy.
We make the excuses of after I finish this or after I fix that.
Or when life comes down.
When I earn more.
When everyone else is okay,
When I finally feel ready.
But joy was never meant to be a reward for completing life perfectly.
Joy is a part of being alive.
Ask yourself gently.
What brings me alive?
What makes me laugh?
What makes time disappear?
What makes my heart feel expansive?
What have I been postponing?
Do not worry about the answers.
Simply let each question enter your heart.
Imagine a spark of golden light in your chest.
This is joy.
Maybe it has been quiet.
Maybe life has covered it with responsibility,
Or grief,
Or exhaustion.
But it has not disappeared.
Gently breathe into it.
Let that spark grow.
Let that spark remind you.
You are allowed to enjoy life.
You are allowed to laugh loudly.
You are allowed to celebrate yourself.
You are allowed to experience beauty even while parts of your life are still healing.
You do not betray your past by choosing joy.
You honor your life by living it.
Now imagine the loving intelligence that guides life is beside you.
And imagine hearing these words.
Your life is a gift.
You do not spend all of it waiting.
Do not spend all of it worrying.
Do not spend all of it trying to become worthy.
You are here.
Live.
Love.
Give.
Receive.
Forgive when you can.
Rest when you need to.
Laugh whenever possible.
Notice the beauty.
And remember that the ordinary moments are often the sacred ones.
Allow those words to settle in.
Remember that the ordinary moments are often the sacred ones.
Imagine reaching outward energetically and offering gratitude to everyone.
Thank them for their story.
Thank them for their courage.
Thank them for being here.
Thank you for sharing this moment.
Now silently repeat to yourself.
Thank you for this life.
Thank you for another day.
Thank you for the people I love.
Thank you for the lessons that have shaped me.
Thank you for the strength that carried me.
Thank you for the joy I have known.
Thank you for the joy that is still coming.
Now release what has already passed.
Trust what is still unfolding.
Open yourself up to guidance.
Open yourself to love.
Open yourself to joy.
Open yourself to the possibility that there is still so much more.
Take another deep,
Full breath in.
Breathe in all that joy and gratitude.
And as you breathe out,
Imagine sending one simple prayer outward.
Use my life well.
Guide me where I'm meant to go.
Help me recognize what truly matters.
Help me love deeply.
Help me live fully.
And help me remember to be grateful while I am here.
Slowly begin to notice the world around you.
Look at the world as though you are seeing it again.
When you gently open your eyes.
Because this moment.
This breath.
This life,
The love.
Will never happen in exactly the same way again.
Let this awaken you.
You are here.
You are alive.
You are guided.
And there is so much life wanting and waiting to be lived.
And so it is.
