Hello Tribe.
Welcome to another session.
Today we are going to do some solar plexus breathing and really focus that energy into our core and then we are going to do another heart meditation where we will find our heartbeat and then we will use that heartbeat to send nutrients and energy to places in our body that could use some healing.
So for this solar plexus breathing,
What you are going to want to do is you are really going to want to focus on using your stomach to suck the air in and then slowly release it out.
So it's going to be an intense inhale and a slow release.
And we will go to a 4 second in,
3 second hold,
6 second out,
3 second hold pattern.
And we will do a couple rounds of this with some retentions in between.
So we can go ahead and start now with a deep breath in and out.
And really clench those stomach muscles.
Really just force that oxygen all over your body.
Clench that stomach hard with the full lung of air.
You might start to feel a little dizzy or light headed and that's okay.
That's supposed to happen.
3,
2,
1,
Let it out.
5,
4,
3,
2,
1 and release.
And now we are just going to take a couple full deep breaths.
Try and breathe in as much as you can.
And then breathe out until your lungs are completely deflated.
And we will do 3 of these full breaths.
Try and make each one just a little bit bigger than the one before it.
Until you feel like you can take in no more and you can let no more out.
So deep breath in.
Great job guys.
You are doing fantastic.
Now what I want you to do is close your eyes ever so slightly.
Closing as softly as you can to where they are just barely closed.
Try and relax all those muscles around your eyes.
And what we are going to do this time,
Which is going to be a little bit different than most of my meditations,
Is we are going to try to imagine that we are in a photocopier.
And so we are going to imagine this beam of bright light just starting at the top of our head and going all the way to the bottom of our feet,
Scanning our entire body.
And what we are going to try and focus on this time is finding all of the places where we have a little bit of ache,
A little bit of pain,
A little bit of tension,
Just a little bit of anything that feels uncomfortable or that your intuition tells you that you need some of this breath.
I firmly believe that our body always keeps a score in every traumatic event,
Whether it's a physical trauma like a broken bone or a car wreck,
An emotional trauma like an end of a relationship or a family member passing away or a loved one,
Or a mental trauma such as our crippling,
Belittling self-talk,
Or our constant self-doubt,
Or any of those things that are debilitating and cause us to lose touch of that deep inner self.
So we are going to go ahead and imagine a ball of light above our heads just gathering.
Notice it getting brighter and brighter and expanding and flattening out so it becomes almost like a sheet of paper,
But a sheet big enough to encompass your entire body.
And now it's going to slowly begin to move down through the top of your head,
Through your eyebrows and the back of your skull,
Through your eyes and your eyelids.
You notice that your eyes relax into a centered position,
Maybe even drooping down a little bit.
It passes down over the tip of your nose,
Down through the bottom of your nose,
Through your upper lip,
And as it reaches the top of your spine,
You notice it goes down through each one of your vertebrae,
Through all of the discs and the vertebrae and all of the nerves in your spine,
Through your jaw,
And as it passes through your jaw,
You notice that your mouth slacks open slightly and your tongue settles to the bottom of your jawline.
You also notice that as it's going down through your neck and the back of your spine,
You might swallow as it's happening.
This is normal.
As it works its way down through your shoulders and your chest,
Down through your pecs and your biceps,
Always moving as a flat shape,
Just scanning beam of light,
Down through your elbows and your lungs and your heart,
Down through your wrists and into your hands,
Through all of your internal organs,
All your viscera,
Your intestines and kidneys and liver,
Past the ends of your fingers,
Down through your hips and your hamstrings and your glutes,
And as it passes through your knee,
You notice your legs begin to slack.
If you're like me,
Sometimes you'll have that shaking leg and you'll notice that that shaking leg just calms itself slightly.
The beam continues to go through your body as it goes down through your knees and your calves,
Through your ankles and the tops of your feet,
Down through your heel and it exits through the bottom of your feet and it stops just a few inches below the bottom of your feet and then works its way back up.
Up through the bottoms of your feet,
Up through your toes and the tops of your feet and through your ankles and your calves and your knees,
Up through your neck and shoulders,
Through the top of your skull.
You'll even notice your brain start to relax and you'll notice that your entire body is now feeling calm and relaxed.
And as the beam of light goes up through your jaw and your eyes and your eyebrows and to the top of your head,
And as it leaves the top of your head,
You notice it again forms into a ball.
And now if you can imagine,
If you've ever had a CAT scan or a PET scan or an MRI,
How that 3D rendition of your body appears,
I want you to visualize that now.
I want you to try to visualize little pinpricks of light in all of the places of your body where you found these.
And now I want you to imagine that that is processing that information,
Gathering it up in that ball of light above your head.
I want you to now set that aside for a minute.
And what we're going to do is we're going to listen for our heart.
Some people will feel it in their chest,
A gentle thud,
Thud.
Some people can hear it in their ears.
And if you're struggling to make contact with your heart,
Sometimes it helps to take your pointer and index finger,
Your index and middle finger,
And to stick them on your neck,
Just below your jawline,
And start to feel around for your pulse.
And once you find your pulse,
Just observe it for a minute.
We want to take the time to really get to know this sensation.
And if you're struggling,
Know that this is just a skill.
And just like any skill,
Sometimes it requires a bit of work to master.
But I believe in you.
I know that you can do this.
And as you find your heartbeat,
I want you to imagine a pulsating light,
Pulsating to the beat of your heart,
Where its brightest flashes happen at the most intense part of your heartbeat.
And as you get this,
Let's just go ahead and hold this for a minute and observe this pulsating light over our heart.
Allow your intention and attention to gather the energies here.
And as it continues to pulsate to the beat of your heart,
You notice it gets intense and more intense and more intense.
And now,
I want you to pull that image back into your front sight of the places in your body where you were holding pains or tensions or traumas,
Or pretty much any uncomfortable feeling.
I want you to take that pulsating light energy and I want you to move it along the pathways of your blood veins and vessels towards one of those pinpricks of light from your body scan.
I want you to use your visualization and it's almost as if all of your veins and arteries are superhighways.
If any of you have ever driven in a city,
You'll know those big old six-lane highways where there's just all these cars moving in both directions,
Which is just like your blood vessels.
And all the cars are your red blood cells and your white blood cells and your platelets and all of these antibodies that are traveling through your immune system.
And what you're doing here,
How I visualize it,
Is I visualize that all of those cars are being given the same GPS coordinates and so they're all traveling to the same place.
And traffic slows down greatly in all other parts of your body while you focus all of your energy on this spot that needs healing.
I like to use this method as it really helps you to focus your attention and your intention and gather all of the little parts of your blood so that whether it's an emotional pain or a physical pain or a mental pain or a spiritual pain,
All of these different vehicles are all going to the same place.
So if it's a wound,
Your platelets can help clot the area and build new skin cells.
If it's an infection,
Then your white blood cells can start to combat that along with the antibodies.
And so we will just focus here for a while and allow this pulsating energy to continue to gather in that spot.
Imagine all of those cars driving to that location and emptying their loads and then taking the highway back through to your heart to once again gather oxygenation and minerals and vitamins and all of the different building blocks that your cells use.
To rebuild it.
Almost like a little mini construction site where there's all kinds of framers framing up walls and plumbers running new plumbing electricians working on your nerves.
Allow your body to heal.
Because the basic truth is that whether it's a doctor or a medication or a procedure or diet and nutrition,
All that any of those protocols do is provide your body with the optimal conditions to heal.
But it is always,
Always,
Always you that does the healing.
You are the healer.
Your body is a super conscious,
Super intelligent,
Super complex organism.
Capable of self replication and self repair.
And where your attention goes,
Your energy flows.
Thank you for joining me today and practicing this skill.
I love you all.
And I thank you for being a part of this tribe.
And for helping to save my life.
Love and light.
And may you have a wonderful day.
And a blessed life.
