Hello and welcome.
I'm so glad that you're here.
My name is Taylor Eastman and I am a life coach and energy practitioner.
This meditation was created to help you arrive fully in your body,
Connect deeply to the earth beneath you,
And to surround yourself with a field of loving protection before you move throughout your day,
Or as you prepare to rest for the evening.
There's nothing that you need to do right now except to be here.
Now go ahead and find a comfortable position,
Seated or lying down,
Whatever feels right for your body in this moment.
Allow your eyes to gently close or soften your gaze downward if that feels more comfortable for you.
You may pause the audio now if you need more time to get comfortable.
And when you are ready,
We will begin.
Begin now by taking a deep,
Slow breath in through your nose and release it slowly through your mouth.
Let that first breath signal to your entire body that it is safe to let go,
That it is safe to arrive here in this moment.
Now take another deep breath in,
Feeling your lungs expand fully,
And exhale completely,
Releasing anything that no longer needs to travel with you.
And one more time,
Breathing in peace and calm,
And breathing out any remaining tension or distractions.
Now allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
There's nothing to control,
Nothing to force.
Simply notice the rise and fall of your breath,
And with each exhale,
Feel your body settling just a little more deeply.
Beginning at the top of your head,
Allow a gentle wave of relaxation to begin moving through you.
Feel your scalp softening,
Your forehead becoming smooth and peaceful,
Your eyes releasing any strain behind its closed lids.
Let this relaxation move down into your jaw.
You might let your mouth fall slightly open as your jaw unclenches and releases.
Feel it flowing down through your neck and into your shoulders.
Let your shoulders drop away from your ears,
Releasing whatever weight that they may have been holding.
This wave of relaxation continues down through your arms,
Through to your elbows and forearms,
All the way to your hands and to your fingertips.
Your arms are feeling heavy and completely at ease.
Now feel this relaxation moving through down to your chest,
Your heart space opening and expanding with each breath,
Moving down through your belly and your back.
Releasing any knots or tightness that may be held there.
The relaxation continues down now through to your hips,
Your thighs,
Your knees,
Down to your calves,
And all the way down to the feet and to your toes.
Your entire body is now completely relaxed,
Peaceful,
And at ease.
You are safe,
You are held,
And you are exactly where you need to be.
From this place of deep relaxation,
Begin to feel your connection to the earth beneath you.
Even though you may be sitting in a chair or resting in a bed,
Imagine beautiful roots of light beginning to grow from the base of your spine,
From your sitting bones,
From the soles of your feet.
See these roots of light growing downward,
Moving through the floor beneath you,
Through the foundation of the building that you're in,
Going down into the rich,
Dark soil of the earth.
Feel them reaching deeper through layers of soil and stone,
Deeper and deeper,
All the way down until they anchor at the very heart and core of Mother Earth.
Feel this connection.
You are anchored,
You are grounded,
And you belong here.
Now begin to draw the nurturing,
Stabilizing energy of Mother Earth up through these roots.
This earth energy is strong and supportive.
It is patient and infinitely loving.
It has been here long before you,
And it holds you completely.
Feel this grounding energy rising up through your roots,
Up through the earth,
Into the soles of your feet,
Filling your legs with strength and stability.
Rising up into your torso,
Giving you a solid,
Unshakable foundation.
Continuing up through your chest and into your heart,
Filling every cell of your being with the steady,
Loving energy of the earth.
You are grounded,
You are centered,
You are rooted in this moment,
In this body,
And in this life.
Now,
While remaining anchored to the earth below,
Gently lift your awareness upward.
Imagine a beautiful column of pure,
Brilliant,
White light descending from the heavens above you.
This light is unconditional love.
It is divine protection.
It is the energy of all that is good and sacred in this universe.
Feel this white light touching the crown or the top of your head and beginning to pour over you like warm,
Liquid light.
It moves down over your head and your face,
Going down around your shoulders,
Down through your chest and your back,
Slowly surrounding your entire body in a luminous,
Protective cocoon of divine light.
This light encases you completely above your head,
Around your sides,
And beneath your feet.
You are fully surrounded,
Fully held,
And fully protected.
Within this sacred space,
Only love may enter.
Only that which is for your highest good may reach you.
You are safe here on every level,
Physically,
Emotionally,
Energetically,
And spiritually.
Take a moment now to feel the quality of this space,
The stillness of it,
The safety of it.
You are grounded below and protected above,
Earth beneath you,
Light surrounding you,
Like a tree with deep roots reaching into the ground and its branches lifted up towards the sky.
You are both anchored and open,
Both rooted and free.
Simply rest here for a few moments.
There is nothing that you need to do,
Nowhere that you need to go.
There is nothing to figure out or fix or hold together.
Just breathe in this space and just allow yourself to be.
You are safe here.
You are loved here.
In just a moment,
We'll begin to return our awareness to this room,
To your body,
And tune in to the present moment.
Know that everything that we have established here today remains with you.
Your roots to the earth don't disappear when this meditation ends.
Your field of light doesn't fade when you open your eyes.
You carry all of this here with you now.
So begin now to deepen your breath just slightly.
Feel the weight of your body against the surface beneath you.
Become aware of the temperature of the air on your skin,
The sounds of the space that are around you.
Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Allow some small movement back into your body.
And when you feel ready,
And only when you feel ready,
Slowly and gently open your eyes and return fully to this space.
Take a moment before you move.
Notice how you feel,
How you are grounded,
Protected,
And present.
