When you don't know how something is going to turn out, the mind starts reaching. This is a short practice for the moments when not knowing starts to feel like too much. Over about ten minutes, you'll settle into where you actually are instead of running ahead to what might happen. You'll feel the ground holding you, let the breath slow, and then gently turn toward something unfinished in your life without trying to solve it. You can return to this any time the not-knowing feels heavy. To listen, find a comfortable place to sit or lie down where you won't be interrupted for a little while. Headphones help if you have them. This one is made for your waking hours, so it will gently bring you back to alertness at the end, ready to return to your day.
