Welcome.
Find a comfortable position,
Allowing your body to settle exactly as it is.
Take a slow breath in.
And a gentle breath out.
Again,
Breathing in calm.
And breathing out anything you've been carrying.
Allow your shoulders to soften.
Relax your jaw.
Unclench your hands.
There is nowhere to be.
Nothing to accomplish.
This time belongs entirely to you.
Cancer season invites us inward.
Like the crab carrying its home wherever it goes,
We're reminded that our greatest sense of safety doesn't always come from outside.
That begins within.
During this season,
Emotions may feel a little closer to the surface.
Memories may return.
Your intuition may speak a little louder.
Rather than pushing these feelings away.
Today,
We'll simply make space for them.
Imagine yourself standing beside a peaceful body of water.
Beneath a soft summer sky.
The water is still.
Reflective.
Gentle.
Each breath creates small ripples across its surface.
This water.
Represents your emotional world.
Not something to fear.
Not something to fix.
Simply something to witness with kindness.
As you breathe,
Notice the surface becoming clearer.
If emotions arise,
Welcome them.
If thoughts drift in,
Allow them to float by like the leaves upon the water.
There is no need to judge anything you discover here.
Everything belongs.
Now imagine a warm moonlight beginning to shine across the water.
Its silver light reaches toward you,
Wrapping around your shoulders like a comforting blanket.
This moonlight carries compassion.
Acceptance.
Safety.
Let it remind every part of you.
You are allowed to feel deeply.
You are allowed to rest.
You are allowed to care for yourself as gently as you care for others.
You Now bring your awareness to your heart space.
Imagine a soft pearl of light glowing there.
You And with every inhale,
It grows brighter.
And with every exhale,
It expands.
This light is your inner home.
A place you can return to no matter what is happening around you.
Now,
Quietly ask yourself.
.
.
What does my heart need right now?
Don't force an answer.
Simply listen.
Perhaps a word comes to mind.
Perhaps an image.
Perhaps only stillness.
Trust whatever arrives.
Now silently repeat.
I honor my emotions.
I trust my intuition.
I create safety within myself.
I give myself permission to rest.
I am worthy of the same love I so freely give to others.
Imagine now this warm light continuing to grow until it surrounds your entire body.
You are held.
You are protected.
You are grounded.
And you are supported.
As cancer season unfolds,
May you remember that softness.
Is not weakness.
Sensitivity is not something to hide.
Your emotions are part of your wisdom.
Your intuition is one of your greatest gifts.
And your heart already knows the way forward.
Take one more deep breath in… and slowly exhale.
Begin bringing awareness back to the room.
Notice the surface beneath you.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
And carry this feeling of home within you throughout the rest of your day.
Thank you for sharing this practice with me.
And be well.
