Vagal humming and tanpura drone music for insomnia, anxiety, nervous system healing, and the extended exhale response. Breath-paced, warm, deeply sleep-inducing. The exhale is the fastest path to sleep your body has. When your exhale is longer than your inhale, the vagal brake activates. Heart rate slows. The parasympathetic nervous system engages. The chronic alertness keeping the anxious body from sleep begins, quietly, to release. This piece is paced around that exhale. As you listen, simply let your out-breath be a little longer than your in-breath. Nothing forced. Just slightly more out than in. The humming will guide you naturally. Feminine humming on sustained out-breaths. Tanpura drone beneath, continuous and foundational. A second voice barely present in simple warm harmony. For insomnia, anxiety, nervous system healing, wired and tired exhaustion, or any night your body knows it needs sleep but cannot find the way there. One long exhale. Sleep follows.
