Hi,

My name is Janna and I want to let you know that you are exactly where you're supposed to be today.

This meditation will give you space to connect with your growing baby inside of you.

It will help you let go of any anxiety you may be feeling about labor and delivery.

Let go of any physical discomfort you may be experiencing.

And most importantly,

It will help honor the incredible miracle that you're growing and creating.

Let's begin.

Start by sitting in a comfortable upright position.

Hands turn towards the ceiling.

You can even put them in a mootr if it feels right.

Gently close your eyes.

Begin to breathe in slowly and deeply through your nose.

And exhale through your mouth.

Take a slow and deep breath in,

Bringing your attention to your expanding belly.

And slowly exhale,

Breathing all the way out until you're at the very end of your breath.

Inhale.

And exhale.

Cool air in on the inhale.

Warm air out on the exhale.

Inhale.

And exhale.

Inhale and notice how the breath extends your chest and belly.

Exhale.

Feel the sensation of relief.

Another breath in.

And exhale.

Slowly bring your breathing to a normal rhythm and settle into a calm,

Centered and relaxed state.

Feel your body getting just a little bit heavier,

Allowing yourself to relax deeper into your position.

Go ahead and slowly and gently place your hands on your belly.

As you do,

Recognize the warmth of the palm of your hands.

Imagine that warmth as a calming,

Glowing,

Bright,

Golden light.

With your eyes still closed,

Watch how it glows from your hands and onto your belly.

You can see it as warm,

Golden light radiating from your hands onto your belly and then entering your body.

Watch how tenderly it embraces your little one.

Feel it.

This is your love.

It's your light.

It's your warmth,

Safely holding your little miracle inside of you.

Take a deep breath in,

Expanding your belly and watching as the yellow glow shines brighter.

And exhale,

Feeling calm and relaxed.

Feel the connection with the baby growing inside of you.

Your body may be feeling weird and uncomfortable lately.

Perhaps you're feeling nauseous,

Low on energy,

Tired or even in pain.

Take a moment to bring to mind all the physical discomforts you've been feeling during your pregnancy.

If any related thoughts,

Worries or judgements about your body come up,

Just recognize them and visualize yourself letting them float away into the sky.

Slowly bring the tension back to your body.

Inhale and notice how the breath expands your chest and belly.

Exhale,

Feel the sensation of relief.

Feel yourself expand and contract as you breathe.

Perhaps you're even feeling your little one move around inside of you.

Your body is doing magical and hard work right now.

Complicated,

Detailed work.

It's working as hard as it has never worked before.

Over the next couple of minutes,

Breathe in some grace for your body.

Gratitude and love for what it's doing for you and your baby.

No matter how messy,

Uncomfortable or inconvenient that may be.

Repeat those affirmations after me and feel their power with every cell of your body.

My pregnant body is beautiful.

I am nourishing my baby.

My body is strong enough.

I have a greater purpose.

I listen to what my body needs.

I am here for my baby.

I make the best decisions for me and my baby.

My body and baby are healthy and strong.

I am ready to be a mom.

There is still work ahead of you.

Bringing this beautiful being into the world will require much of you.

But you have everything you need to do it.

You are extraordinary.

You can do everything.

If you are feeling any fear,

Anxiety or worry about delivering your baby,

Take a second and recognize it.

Imagine yourself gathering all those thoughts,

Worries and what ifs as if they were stones on the ground.

One by one,

Pick up those heavy worries,

Those fears and collect them in a basket.

Now take all those stones with you to the river and throw them in.

All your worries are gone now.

Every single thing is going to be alright.

You have the strength and wisdom from generations of women within you.

Everything is going to be okay.

Now take a deep breath in,

Watch how that beautiful golden glow from your hands begins to expand throughout your entire body.

As you breathe out,

Feel the warmth of your golden light center you.

What a miracle you are right now.

What a divine being you have created.

You are doing an amazing job.

When you feel ready,

Slowly open your eyes.
