I try out this grounding exercise.
Are you ready to join me?
Press your palms closed on your lap.
You'll want to close your eyes for this one.
Take a deep breath in through the nose for around 4 seconds.
Hold it.
And breathe out through pursed lips,
Through the mouth.
Deep breath in through the nose.
Hold it.
Hold it.
And out through the mouth.
Now place your hands on your heart.
Take a final deep breath in through the nose.
Pause.
And release.
Return to your natural breath.
Give yourself a hug.
Say hello,
Buddy.
How are you feeling today?
And really give yourself a tight cuddle.
Release those arms now.
Open your eyes.
And welcome back.
